Chatterbox: Blab About Books

What book are YOU reading?

Right now i am reading Watership Down by Richard Adams. So far i am liking it... A LOT! I'm about 9 chapters in and loving it. What book are you reading?

What do you mean that Nita is hopeless? Maybe I haven't gotten far enough in the series . . . how many are there?

Well, not hopeless, exactly, I suppose, but... well, she just has no personality, and can be rather boring. In my opinion, that is.

At the moment, there are 8 Young Wizards books, and the 9th comes out in April. The author plans to keep writing them for as long as she feels like it, according to her website, which could mean any amount of time at all. Seeing as she's been writing them since 1983, however... Anyway, there are also 3 books in the Feline Wizardry series, which are related, but the main characters are cats, not humans. They're still wizards, though. And there might be a movie version of So You Want To Be a Wizard coming out in late 2010, as well.

Ooh, I love the Septimus Heap series, but I never did read the fourth book... did you?

(Heehee, I unintentionally said "ooh" at the beginning too.)

I really love TIotB, so I'm already on page 295. By the time you see this, though, I'll probably be much farther.

Um....  *has to think because just went through about five books in the past six days*

Uh... Caddy Ever After.....  Yes, that's it.  I'm confused, I just finished Lucky Stars this morning, and it was really good, so I can't seem to get it out of my mind, and yet, here I am, scrunched up in my favorite chair, chatting away, with my arm resting on the book I'm reading.  After all that I still had to think about the name for a moment. :D

Good thread!

Currently, I am reading Seeing Redd for the second time, since I can't get Arch Enemy, and listening to Peter and the sword of mercy on cd. I think the starcatcher's books have deteriorated since the first one, but I am still a fan.

I'm now reading Tree Girl by T.A. Barron. It's much too easy for me, and I would've liked it more when I was younger, but it's such a good book that I really don't care. T.A. Barron is a great author.

@ Ema: *lols* I know how you feel. I've done the same thing before. :)

@ Ima: *sobs at mention of Nancy Farmer books* I think I made a thread on those... I'm not really that pathetic... but the thread explains my attachment to them.

Also, re: "ooh!": You've been Internetized! ;D

@ JFB: AE is most great. I love the ReddxArch thing. Not that it's real. Just that I love it. :D

I'm now reading Charmed Life, the first book in the Chronicles of Chrestomanci by DWJ. I've actually read several books in that series already, but luckily, you don't have to go in order.

I'm now reading The Lives of Christopher Chant, the sequel to Charmed Life.

I'm now reading Silverwing by Kenneth Oppel. I really wish it weren't so anthropomorphic, and some of the characters can be a bit dull at times, but it's okay.

Switching Well by Peni R. Griffin.

Since I'm going on vacation tomorrow for  6 days, I'm afraid I may not have time to post everything I read as I read it,l but I'll do my best. Not to mention the fact that I may not have as much time to read as usual, which would render this less likely to occur.
