I just finished...

I just finished reading Uglies. Has anyone else read it? What did you think? I liked it a lot (I like futuristic stuff), but I thought Tally made all the wrong choices. Don't you think? She's the kind of character you want to slap. Just tell the truth already, Tally! And...yeah. I really want to read Pretties, but it is checked out of the school library. *pouts* Of course they had two copies each of Specials and Extras, but no Pretties. *pouts some more*

I really like those books. I think that Tally is a well-written character. She's definitely not a Mary Sue (most of the time). That's why she's fun to read about! Pretties, Specials, and Extras are good too, because they show how Tally's personality changes.

No, I agree she's well written, and I agree she's not a Mary Sue, but I kept yelling at her. She can be annoying sometimes.

I just finished Pretties and loved it. I agree, Tally is well written but can get a little annoying at times.
