Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Heartbreaking sob stories
I love sad...

I love sad books. I don't even know why. So if you're like me, feel free to share the saddest books you've ever read.

For me, it's The Hunger Games (the entire series). I know it's supposed to be a dystopian thriller-esque novel, but something about it makes me cry every time I read it. Another one is Kira-Kira. No words. This book is actually amazing and the ending crushed me. I could not stop thinking about it.

Anyway yeah...

That's about it.

For me, it's The Book Thief. I read it last summer and it remains pretty much the only book that has ever made me cry. It's historical fiction and incredibly dark

This Star Won't Go Out. Read it. It will change your life. I've spent so much time thinking that Esther would love CB.

The Song of Achilles and Circe definitely did it for me; Madeline Miller is always great.
