I'm about half way done with Keeper of the Lost Cities: Unraveled. I'm really enjoying it, I'd rate it a 4/5 so far. :)

I just got halfway through Pride and Prejudice. It's written so well. The dialogue is incredibly deep yet distinctive for each character. It's so different from modern society that it's hard to relate most of the time, though--which isn't a bad thing. I like being immersed in that world. I don't know if my attention span has increased, because it's written in a style that a year or two ago I would consider dry, but it's actually quite a pageturner and I can't put it down. It also feels easy to read and follow, which is surprising since this is the first fiction book I've read in a long while, in a different style than I used to read (I'd been into really cliche middle grade fantasy before) and I was expecting my reading skils to be really rusty.

Reading it with a dictionary, though--some of the words are tricky.

I've read about half of Summer Switch by Mary Rodgers. It's a really fun book! It's about a father and son who find themselves stuck in each other's bodies: Bill, the father, is now off to summer camp, while Ben, the son, is about to have a meeting with "his" formidable new boss... The novel follows all the hilarious twists and turns that the switch causes, from inadvertent meetings with someone nicknamed The Jolly Green Grape to struggles with the prim manager of a California hotel. The writing style flows along in an entertaining, absorbing way; it's hard to stop reading once you've begun, and you want to find out what happens next - and it's laugh-out-loud funny. The book's a sequel to Freaky Friday, which is also a very good read.
