Chatterbox: Blab About Books

I went to the library yesterday and got The Thing About Jellyfish, it is probably the best standalone novel I have EVER read. I cried so much, but not a sob/bawl cry, more like silent tears STREAMING down my face.

It's about a 7th grade girl named Suzy Swanson who had just recently lost her best friend Franny to a drowning incident. Suzy then escapes to her own world of imagination, trying to convince herself that it was a jellyfish and not her friends fault. Going as far as the lengths of attempting to travel to a different continent.

I definantly reccomend this to slightly older readers, maybe 12+.
