Walk Two Moons
Hi, Everybuggy! ...

Hi, Everybuggy!

Has anyone read Walk Two Moons? I'm right in the middle or past in the book. I am actually friends with the author's granddaughter! The author is Sharon Creech. My friends have lost their minds. They're CRAZY about her. Let me know if you read this book, or a book by this author. Thanks!

Elena, we meet again.

Yep, I have read Walk Two Moons, which is a really good book. Have you read Sharon Creech's new book, The Castle Corona?

K.B. (If I may call you that)

I have now finished Walk Two Moons. I think it's a really sad story. Too many people die in this book. But I do feel bad for Sal in the end. And, by the way, I have not read The Castle Corona. Is it good? Would you recommend it?

I had to read Walk Two Moons for "Battle of the Books'' last yer, I liked it, but Ididn't like the romance when Ben kissed Sal. If anyone likes that pert, sorry i hate romance!!! My friend loves this book, but personally, ididn't think it was the best book in "Battle of the Books''.

Ummm... Who's Everybuggy?

It's "everybody,"  a bug pun, because we are reading Bug Magazines. -Admin

I know that much.

I think when she said 'anybuggy,' she meant any CBers. And then I'm guessing Admin thought she meant the Bugs themselves? So then she might have been confused, not realizing who'd responded. Of course, I'm just guessing, and could be wrong about everything...

Yes, I'ver read Walk Two Moons two and a half times... well listened to it as an audiobook, and then it got all mixed up on my iPod and I got tired of searching for the next track on the plane and I wanted to save battery.  And you really didn't need to know that. :)  But I love Sharon Creech, and find it really awesome that the person who started this thread two years ago knows the author's granddaughter!  I would have given anything to meet Sharon Creech when I read almost all of her books a few years ago.

@Juiet E-C: I read Absolutely Normal Chaos and thought it was good.  I like how there are a bunch of Sharon Creech books that are connected: Absolutely Normal Chaos, Walk Two Moons, Chasing Redbird, and Bloomability.

I read it (and Chasing Redbird and another book whose name I don't remember) a year or so ago. I loved them.
