Chatterbox: Blab About Books

What book are you reading?
In an effort...

In an effort to stamp out these Warriors RP, here is a new thread!

What book are you reading right now? I'm reading *grimaces* King Arthur and His Knights. For school. I don't have a choice *sobs*. Oh, and I'm reading Pretties, the second book in the Uglies trilogy. It's okay, but not as good as Uglies

So, what are you reading? *listens attentively*

I FINALLY finished Arthur trilogy book one The Seeing Stone. Now I am reading Princess Academy. It's pretty good. My mama got it from the Scholastic book fair. That fair was AWESOME. I got all sorts of books, and some cool erasers, a fuzzy purple pencil, a Harry Potter book mark and an AWESOME Harry Potter poster!

What is the Uglies and Pretties books about?

Hey, Admin, I have a question. How many of you are there? And do you do other things on Cricket than check the posts?

There are three of us, and we have lots of other responsibilities in the editorial department. But Chatterbox is the most fun!

Yeah! Scholastic book fairs are fun! I always get as many books as my mom lets me (I don't blame her for setting limits—if she didn't, I'd spend every cent I had on books!). I never really bother with the pencils, though, because I have many already. I wish my school book fair had Harry Potter posters, but the only posters they ever have are Twilight! That's annoying. I do manage to find some Harry Potter posters/papers/related things to put on my wall, though...

Princess Academy is really good! A lot of us on Cricket have read it, as there's a summer book club we have that read it once...

I read Warriors: Field Guide: Secrets Of The Clans earlier today. It was really good, but there were some major, um, holes... And I finished Alphabet Of Dreams. It was wonderful.

I'm still reading The Silmarillion... It's still the hardest book I've ever read, but it's awesome, too! The language is simply genius!

Ok so right now I'm reading No Promises In The Wind for school and actually it's not that bad. On monday I finished Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and it was awesome as soon as I finish this post I'm going to post something in one of the Hitchhikers' blog.

I'm working my way through The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers, while at the same time reading I Am David for school and Adopted Jane before it has to go back to the library. (We own the Lord of the Rings, so I'm kind of going through that slowly since I know I won't have to return it or write a report about anything. :)

I just finished The Hunger Games, which was really good at the beginning but I found a bit of a letdown. For school, I'm reading Farewell to Manzanar. I'm in the middle of Dune, but have taken an extended break because it's really heavy and confusing. When the library gets it, I will read Onem of the Stars, so wait for my review of it coming soon! It'll probably be on the ChoklitClan thread, a thread which I suggest everyone reads, as it is rather hilarius, and I'm not talking about my posts.

I agree to Ima's terms.

What is it with YA authors always writing about apprentices?
