I am Sparrowstar!
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
I am Sparrowstar! Welcome to Rainclan. This clan is a little different. In this clan we post like a round robin or something like that. Please, please join! Oh, and when you do, please do a description either in your writing or separate (like putting Gender: ___ Pelt: ___, etc.).
As the tan tabby she-cat climbed out of her den, drops of rain began to fall. Her golden eyes surveyed her empty camp.
"Please! If anyone can hear me! Please help! Make my clan, my once great clan, my Rainclan, great again! Help me!" Her eyes filled with sorrow, she shook the rain off and walked back to her den, trying not to remember. Remember the horrible attack, the attack that had killed her whole clan when she was only 10 moons, just barely a warrior. In the space of ten days she had become leader, being the last available cat to become deputy after nearly all were killed. After Blackstar had been killed, she was the only one left alive. She shook the thoughts from her head. That was 10 moons ago and she still didn't have a clan! "I'm was going to have to fix that." She thought. "Please, Starclan! Help me!"

"Um, do you think I should hunt?" Eaglepaw offered. Summerpaw shrugged, before chewing up some more herbs to help Sweetkit.
(December 23, 2009 - 1:17 pm)
Littlemoon lay in the nursery, yawning as she gazed at her nursing
kits. There had been five, but only four warm bodies snuggled against
her, the fifth lay buried deep in the forest, never to know what it was
to live. The thought brought tears to Littlemoon's eyes, but she
quickly brushed the thoughts away, knowing that nothing could be done.
Yawning again, she laid her head against her paws and fell asleep.
Robinwing lay at the entrance of the nursery, hoping the other queen's
near-dead kit would surive. "This clan needs no more heartbreak,"
he thought with a heavy sigh. Looking back at his kits, though, he
smiled. The four surviving kits had finished eating and had fallen deep
asleep, nestled tight against their mother. The pretty tortoishell
she-kit was named Swirlingkit, after her colorful swirling pelt. The
smallest tom looked just like him, ginger with green eyes, so he was
named Robinkit. Two small kits, though one was a she-kit and one a tom,
looked identical, deep brown-red with dark amber eyes. They had named them Owlkit (the tom) and Emberkit (the she-kit). The dead kit had been grey-blue and named Rainkit. Robinwing looked outside towards the medicine cat den. Hearing the newest arrival, Eaglepaw, ask if she (he? I think it's she, but I want to make sure) should hunt, he jogged over to her.
"That would probably be a good idea, Eaglepaw. If you want, we can go together."
(December 27, 2009 - 12:57 am)
"Sure!" she meowed. "Let's go."
(December 28, 2009 - 2:07 pm)
The two mates looked hopeful. "Plese feed our kit the herb! If it will help her, please do!" meowed Silvermoon. Rainpelt nodded, agreeing with his mate.
(December 28, 2009 - 3:07 pm)
Sparrowstar picked up herb and mashed it between two rocks, squishing it into a pulp. She opened Sweetkit's jaws and set the paste on the back of her tounge. After a moment, Sweetkit swallowed. Her breaths became slow and even as she slid into a deep, healing sleep.
"Don't worry if she sleeps for a few days. I slept-, er, they usually sleep for around two or three days." With a nod she hurried out of the den. "I will come with you, Robinwing and Eaglepaw."
(December 29, 2009 - 6:41 pm)
The two cats sighed with relief. Their kit would live!!!! "Thank you!!!" they said together. (I will finish this later. Right now, I have to go.)

CHAPTER TWO!
Two days later, the kit, Sweetkit awoke. Her feeble eyes fluttered open, and since Windflash was on Kit-watch, she didn't know what miracle just happened. A tiny "mew" made Windflash snap to attention. She bent down, sniffing.
"Sweetkit?" She purred. "Are you awake?" The weak kit mewed, louder this time. Windflash stuck her only white paw out, prodding a she-cat awake. Silvermoon jumped up, awake.
"Is she alright?" She half-growled.
"Sweetkit opened her eyes, and is awake!" Windflash mewed excitedly. The kit stumbled over to Silvermoon, her mouth open for milk. "Let her nurse," Windflash advised.

Hello??? Anyone there??? No ones posted for days!!!
(January 8, 2010 - 5:33 pm)
"Should I go gather herbs, today, Windflash?" Summerpaw asked. She licked her paw and put it down, then looked hopeful at her mentor.
(January 9, 2010 - 3:30 pm)
Silvermoon and Rainpelt had been watching over there kit for days. The other one had gotten better and seemed strong. His parents were glad. "When will Our kit start having the dreams?" Silvermoon asked Sparrowstar worriedly.
(January 10, 2010 - 5:42 pm)
"It depends." Sparrowstar meowed. "Some have dreams as a kit, and some as adults. It's hard to tell." A rustle from the entrance caught her attention. A wiry dark brown tabby padded in.
"Hello," he meowed, his voice clear and strong, "I am Hawkstripe. May I join?" His deep amber eyes gazed intently at Sparrowstar.
"Hawkstripe!" the she cat cried racing over to nuzzle him. "You're here!" the tom laughed and then purred at Sparrowstar's delight.
"Yes, my beautiful mate, I am."
"Everyone!" Sparrowstar meowed, "This is my mate, Hawkstripe! Hawkstripe, come with me! I'll show you our territory!!" Laughing again, the tom bounded out of camp, his mate by his side.
(January 10, 2010 - 9:54 pm)
Windflash listened admirably at the two cat's laughter, but her eyes were dark. Almost envious. She was snapped back to reality by Summerpaw calling her, asking "Should I go gather herbs today, Windflash?" The brown she-cat replied "Yes, thank you. I'll come with, just to see all the herbs you know. We haven't had much time to train, with the kits and all. Lets go." The two padded out of camp.
(Windflash's controller is in Hawai'i, and won't be back till the 19th or 18th. She still might be able to post, though. But not often.)
(January 11, 2010 - 12:30 pm)
"Ok, let's go!" Summerpaw exclaimed, padding out of camp with Windflash at her heels. She suddenly stopped and began to sniff some golden flowers. "This is marigold, and it's used to stop infection, right?" She began to pick some of the plant and put it into a hollow small rock tied to her neck. "Right, now let's keep looking for more herbs!"
Eaglepaw ran back to camp with a squirrel and a robin in her jaws. She also carried 2 voles, dragging them by their tails. "How's this?" she mumbled as she dropped her prey on the fresh-kill pile. She turned up to look at Sparrowstar. "Hey, do you know if I can have a mentor or not?" Eaglepaw asked. Unlike her sister Summerpaw, she was more bossy and tough and daring and a good fighter, while Summerpaw was kind, caring, knew a lot about herbs, and was gentle.
(January 11, 2010 - 9:11 pm)
Silvermoon padded over to the brown tom. "Greetings, Hawkstripe. Its a pleasure to meet you. I am Silvermoon. My mate is named Rainpelt. I have two kits. Would you like to meet them?"
