Has anyone read this book? It's the first one in the Ascendance Series by Jennifer A. Nielsen. I absolutely loved it! If you haven't read it you should check it out! :D

Yes! I've read it. I couldn't believe the plot twist 2/3 the way through. MIND BLOWN. I just felt like there weren't enough girls in The False Prince. There was the princess who's name I forgot, and Imogen and that was it. (tsk, tsk, sigh...) But it still was a great book.

I didn't think anyone else had read it! I read it a year or two ago (the whole series) and it made it into my favorite books list (which doesn't actually exist, but the thought is there). I liked the first one best, but the others were good too.

And yeah the plot twist—I kind of expected it but it was still mindblowing.

Also, I love the name Sage~

I've read it, and while the first book in the series is great, the others are not as good.
