Kind of like Darkling's thread for songs, this is a book recommendation thread that's based off preferences. Instead of giving long lists of their favorite books, each person will post a genre they are looking for more books of and one or more specific books from that genre they liked. The next person (or more than one person) will think about that genre/books and reccomend one/more based on that genre/books. They can also post their own genre if they want. Try to keep the genre's sort of strict, instead of just "FaNtAsY"—or if you do put a broader genre, add more books from it so people have a higher likelihood of knowing what you want.
The first person who posts can start with their own genre.

I'd like some reccomendations for YA or middle-grade dystopian fantasy. I'm very interested in that category and my best friend loves dystopian fantasy, but I need some ideas.
Also, I know that literally no one asked, but I have some books reccomendations for people.
1. Six Crimson Cranes + The Dragons Promise by Elizabeth Lim
2. The Gilded Ones + The Merciless Ones + the third book which hasn't come out yet by Namina Forna.
3. Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger
4. The Bloom Trilogy by Kenneth Oppel
5. The Legend series by Marie Lu
6. The Lost Dreamer by Lizz Huerta

(definetely need more books when I don't even have room for the ones I have... hehe)
I'm obsessed with fantasy series that most normal, sane people would either find too long or... too violent... ah ha ha.
