Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Guess the book quote!
This game's probably...
This game's probably been done on here before, but I thought it'd be fun to do again. Basically, someone posts a line of dialogue from a book, and other people try to guess what it's from. There's not really any winning or losing, it's just fun. So without further ado, let's see how many fandoms I can summon with these quotes:
"You are not much of a warrior, are you, Finian?"
"Make way for the Raven King"
"My ghost won't associate with your ghost"
"I am not ruined. I am ruination."
"Fear is the mind-killer"
"You are a pipe dream."
"Good night, sweet prince."
"You owe me three days in the infirmary."
"Am I not merciful?"
"I am the one thing you will never kill. I am hope."
Anyone got any guesses?

Yep! It's from The Throne of Fire.
Here's another one:
"(Another story about a baby in a box. I’m not sure what that’s about, but again, do NOT try growing babies in boxes at home. It doesn’t work.)"

I do not aim with my hand. He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I aim with my eye.

Heres the next one:
"Barclay Thorne knew all there was to know about mushrooms, and there was a lot to know."

ooh, heres another quote that I just found in a book I'm reading:
"You could be drowned in mud, pushed off a cliff, squished by a dinosaur, zapped by a lazer, or, in the case of one aggresively realistic dating simulator I'd play, contract mad cow disease from a haphazardly run steak house. All this and more could happen to you, and the result would always be the same. First, you'd feel a warm and comforting sensation, like being zipped all the way into a sleeping bag stuffed with goose down and anesthetic."

Rereading old favorites and remembering why i love them so much.
"I liked the feeling the moonlight gave me, as if it wasn't the opposite of day, but its underside, its private side, when the fabulous purred on my snow-white sheet like some dark cat come in from the desert."
