So who here...

So who here has read the Artemis Fowl books?  I really liked the writing style and the plots but sometimes it would get a little technical for me.  My penpal's favorite character is Buttler but I either like Artemis or Foaly best.

I have 5 of the books.  But I can't decide which one is best.  Maybe 5.

I think the books are okay, but not great. I can't choose between Holly and Opal for a favorite character.

I love the Artemis Fowl series!!!!!!!  It's so cool!!!  I think that the best character is Opal; she's so smart but not smart enough to beat Artemis Fowl no siree.

 I've read the first one, and liked it. I thought it was an interesting premise and well-done characters, not to mention plenty of twists and cool technology. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to any of the rest yet =P

I think of all the books the 6th is my favorite.. The Time Paradox. It is very technical, and I had to reread it a couple of times to actually understand all of it... but it was really good. My favorite character has to be Holly. (But of course, Foaly is awseome too... and Artemis.. and Butler...) Opal? She is soooo evil!! Why is she a fav character???

I read the Artemis Fowl series a couple years ago, and I haven't really remembered all that much; I've read so many good books since then. I wouldn't say they are the best books, but they're not bad.

Hannah, I think Opal is many people's favorite character because she is portrayed very well and stays in your mind. I don't think people like her for the things that she does, I think that people think that she's just a cool character.

For me this book was hard to get into, but it got really exciting once I just got past the hard parts.
