Good idea.

This is in response to comments made on the Fablehaven thread:

@ Mathilda: Really? You're reconsidering liking twilight? REALLY? *squee* I mean, it's fine if you like them, of course but... really? *hugs*

Also, I totally despaired of getting Frankenstein from the library, and ordered it on Amazon, so don't feel guilty. ;)

@ Reuben: Enh... I can stand Laura, but she's definitely a Sue. Nero and Raven are my favourite characters, personally... I like the Contessa to a certain extent as well.

MW is a good writer, but he tends to go frighteningly cliche at the oddest moments...

Isn't it odd that the same three people are commenting on the FH and H.I.V.E. thread?

@ Mary Liz: I definitely do not like the movie anymore. (Because fo bad acting, phony special affects, etc.) As for the book, eh, *shrugs* definetely not one of my favorite books, but maybe not my least favorite. I actually loved the Contsetta, just because of how threatining she is. (Then again, maybe that's because I am. All my friends call me threatining and argumentitive, which are probabaly true, but stil...:P)

Did anyone else read H.I.V.E. except for you, Reuben, and I? Anyone?

I think TNÖ read it. I'm beginning to think we're the only non-Warriors-RPers left on BaB.

Well, favorite characters. I liked Nero, Cypher (in all his forms), Raven, Wing, and Pike. I would have liked Nigel, had he not been an exact copy of Neville Longbottom. (They even both excell in Herbology!) The Contessa was a bit cliche at times, but a bit awesome at other times, so she's up there. Maybe that's because we share the desire for a continent. Even though he's one of my favorites, I do think Wing should have stayed dead. And the authour never even should have thought up ShelbyxWing. *shudders*

@ Mathilda: You're not the only one often called threatening and argumentative. *conspiratorial wink* ;)

@ Reuben: Hah, yes. "Oh, I wasn't cheap. Cypher has promised me a continent when this is all over. I haven't decided which one I'll chose yet, but I'll worry about that later." Definitely a reason to like the Contessa. Though I was not terribly fond of Cypher, who I thought was rather flat.

And yes, Nigel was an underweight Neville.

@ TNO (umlaut): Umm... not so much an outright ShelbyxWing as just a bunch of those annoying little cameos... the most prominent being the Awful but Apparently Touching/Funny Scene to End All AbAT/S Scenes:

Shelby: *brushes Wing's cheek* "You know, you're kinda cute when you're angry."

Wing: "Then I can honestly say I have never been cuter."

I never got over the immense stupidity of that.

Again, NeroxRaven. <3 The only decent pairing in the books...
