I meeean I have only read one manga before. XD As I wait for the rest of season five of My Hero Academia to come out I have been catching up on the manga, so that's pretty good . . . I've only seen, like, 1.3 other animes and read no other mangas, so sorry.

I actually just got an MHA poster though, so that's nice! Yeah, there is my reccomendation.

Ooh, sure! Sounds cool. Mine (I didn't draw it) has all of class 1a plus the top three heroes and Eraser Head in their hero costues, branching out from the center.

Broooooooooooooooo!!!

Hello~

I'm just gonna run through a bunch that I like a lot:

The Banished Villainess! Living the Leisurely Life of a Nun Making Revolutionary Church Food - 9/10 (mg)

Elizabeth x Leonid for life! Oh wait- she's a nun and he's a decade older... Oh well. Okay, it sounds weird, but it's actually a lovely Josei/shoujo - Slice of Life - romcom, with a fun and colourful cast [I might be a little biased towards this one because it was sort of... well, revolutionary in my reading career, being one of the first comics I really got into and also my first in the Villainess genre, which I now love]

When the Villainess Loves - 10/10 (mhw)

I love this one because it totally encapsulates the feeling of being a fangirl and then casually just getting isekai-ed into your favourite novel. You know, as ya' do. The girl who gets transmigrated into Libertia-unnie is absolutely hilarious and seems like a goofball but is surprisingly smart and capable! I honestly love that she's not romantically interested in any of the guys, and stan her with the entirety of my heart. She's so cool! (There might be some weird moments I brushed over as she fangirls though)

Beware of the Villainess - 8/10 (mhw)

[Slight spoilers]

Honestly, a bit of a satyr, it does have some more mature moments at the beginning. The cast is hilarious and. Mellissa is not going to let anyone push her around! I don't think there are any clear romantic interests for her (although the original heroine, a random ikemen she saved and her former cheating fiance all like her prolly), and she basically turned the story on its head. Also, basically every other face she makes is a meme XD

I've been a bit disappointed by the second season so far, but maybe it's just me being picky.

The Justice of a Villainess Woman - 7/10 (mhw)

She's really independent, the art is great, there is more infidelity from the guy, but more often than not that's just how it is in these stories. They develop an actual respect for each other(doesn't exactly seem romantic most of the time) and eventually get along better, with the "nefarious schemes," especially of the supposed heroine, as the main focus.

I Reincarnated into an Otome Game as a Villainess with Only Destruction Flags - 8/10 (mg/an)

[Slight spoilers]

Back to actually Japanese stuff, this is probably the most mainstream Villainess story, Death Flag Otome Game, aka Bakarina. It's really child-friendly, and focused on the comedy with basically everyone falling for the "villainess" MC, including the male leads, female opponents and original heroine. The MC does not realize any of this. She wants to be, and genuinely thinks she is, absolutely villainous.

[Both the manga and anime are great]

Okay, I promise thise is the last Villainess one... For now.

Hunter x Hunter - 10/10 (mg/an)

Excellent in literally every way! It's shounen (aimed at boys), but subverts a lot of common, overused shounen tropes and remains interesting all the while. I honestly love the way the story is crafted, and the astounding character depth, and could rant for days about how amazing it is, but you should just read/watch it for yourself.

[I watched both the 1999 and 2011 anime versions, as well as read the manga. The 1999 is a bit more disturbing and psychological-based, with the episodes more drawn out and focused on character-stuffs. 2011 is much more aimed at children, and has a much bouncier, typical shounen feel to it, especially in the beginning; plus it has better, or at least more modern, art.]

Also, did you know that the writer of Hunter × Hubter is married to the creator of Sailor Moon? Cool, right?

Here for some more:

Death Note - 9/10

I personally loved the psychological thiller-yness of it, it was honestly brilliant. My only qualms would be that the last dozen or so felt a bit drawn out, with way lower stakes. Go watch/read it, and you'll see.

The disasterous life of Saiki K

It's really fun with an interesting cast and crazy antics. For some reason the MC is sort of endearing even though he almost never talks. (I'm not sure if there's a manga, but the anime was good)

Handa-kun - 10/10

It's more of a slice-of-life, but it's the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while. The misunderstandings are ridiculous and the characters are all great! (I mostly watched the anime, but there is a manga too)

Kiachou wa maido-sama - 8/10

It has a sort of silly premise, but it's pretty interesting and is one of those new-but-classic shoujo(aimed at girls) read/watches with a strong Female Lead. (Again, I watched the anime, but it looks like there's a manga).

Sakamoto-desu ga?! Or Haven't you heard, I'm Sakamoto?! - 9/10

It's funny, and although the MC is lowkey sorta OP, he doesn't come across as annoying or a Garry Sue. It's a really great show/read.

(Last time the review got cut off, so I stuck to shorter summaries this time, hope that's okay)

I watched some of Death Note and my sister is OBSESSED but for some reason I didn't like it. I just didn't get the appeal, I guess.0

AnYwAyS I have watched/read hardly any of these but here are some that my friends like! Assassination Classrom, Deathnote, Demon Slayers, Tokyo Ghoul, The Promised Neverland, Naruto, Bleach, Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter. Approximtely half of those are about eating people.

These don't sound like anything Chatterbox would recommend!

Lol, yes Admin. I feel like it's hard to recommend stuff to my friends in-person because they get all judge-y about the admittedly weird titles and I make things sound terrible when I try to give summaries XD

I actually read a fair amount of Demon Slayer (Kimestsu no Yaiba), but both the JVA and the dub bothered me, so I never got around to watching it... (Also I love Gurenege [that's the theme song; "Tsuyoku, nareru, ryuu osh-ita; boku wo-" k, I'm getting carried away, that song is awesome though])

I also spent a full afternoon and night binge-watching basically as much as I could of Bleach and absolutely regretted it during school the next day. XD

Hunter x Hunter is aMaZiNG I'm just saying. Like I know I say this all the time. But seriously. It is. (Daichi wo fumishimete, kimi wa mezamete iku, tenshi no hohoemi de, tsureda-shi teeeeeeeee!) [<- Hunter x Hunter themesong] I'm sorry that song is also the most positive shounen thing I have ever heard.

And... Literally everyone in my family adores Attack on Titan. Except for me. And even my brother who hates anime and is one of the most racist people I know. I don't even understand, mate. It is so... ugh. *cries* (Although Sasageyo is also great; sasageyo, sasageyo, shinzo wo wa sasageyo~ Like, it is actually impossible to find someone who doesn't sing along when that part plays)

Lol I'm sorry I sound like I appreciate the musics more than the actual shows... Ah, that reminds me, speaking of Naruto, Blue Bird is great! I literally am always singing that-

Dang it, I did it again. (T-T)

So, I was searching for manga at the library a few days ago, and I randomly pulled an interesting-looking one off the shelf and it was actually super good?? I expected it to be weird but I actually really loved it and I need the second one. . .

It was called Witch Hat Atelier,  about a girl who wanted to become a witch, and then accidentally did forbidden magic and became a witch's apprentice. The whole idea of how they do magic is really cool too, and there's definitely more to the story but I wouldn't want to ruin it!

(On a random note it also took me a really long time to figure out which order you read the panels in lol, and sometimes I still started to read left-to-right just out of habit :p)
