Okay, MAJOR spoilers for book 14 if WIngs of Fire, The Dangerous gift are in the comment below. DO NOT read unless you have finished the book or will probably never start it.

First off, I hate the connecting-with-scavengers thing. It was so annoying and AGH! I prefer how it was before -- the small amounts of sympathy towards them were weird but fine and it was supposed to be a dagon-dominated world. In case you are wondering I have read part of Dragonslayer. I can elaborate on this if you'd like.

The ending was really cool though! The how-animus-magic-ends was certainly. I was a little sad at first but than I realized that from the phrasing it won't be gone forever! I wrote a long thing on my evidence for this and then I realized that it was getting looong and also it probably isn't too hard to see the reason XD I don't know but I can tell you why I think that.

I also thought the wall and crown (although how has no one figured that out before?) and ring twists too! It really made it more exciting.

I have no idea how Tui will rap this up in just one more book. There wasn't much of the main plot in this one, mostly a “Fine, I have finally come to accept that you exist and are here now and I should help you” for most of the book and than “Alright, let's come up with a plan. *comes up with plan* Okay, let’s send some dragons off to the other continent to do this in the next book. This will help us gather some information to formulate another plan to defeat the evil plant.”

It was still good, though.
