B. Recommend books for people who make Help! posts.
Here's mine:
Help! I need to find a book! I just care about the book being funny and having an interestng plot or topic.

I would prefer keeping my reading choices private, unless somebody asks me about them. Since you asked me, because of the May/June Cricket issue mostly and all those things in my favorite books that make me want to read the book more, I read (and already finished, I'm a fast reader) Alice's Adventures In Wonderland.

I've got a couple I think anyone in the CB would like! Here they are:
Mysteries of Cove Series (9-12)- J. Scott Savage, The Tale of Despereaux - Kate DiCamillo (8-13), House of Sercrets Series (9-11)- Chris Columbus & Ned Vizzini, Holes (10-14)- Louis Sachar.
These are amazing for any ages, but if you want age ratings for them, I added some rough ones, emphasis on rough.

Okay, so, book recommendation time for anyone who needs it! Obviously Harry Potter by JK Rowling, Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus/Trials of Apollo/Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard/The Kane Chronicles, all by Rick Riordan, and the Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer is amazing, it's sort of fantasy sci-fi. Marissa Meyer also has another series called Renegades, which is superhero-esque. Anything by Marie Lu, which includes the Legend series (dystopian), the Young elites (fantasy) and Warcross (futuristic), though you might want to be at least 12 or 13 to read those. The Hunger Games and Divergent are also awesome dystopian fiction. For realistic fiction, the Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise by Dan Geimenhart (I think that's how you spell his last name) is a great feel good book. The Miscalculations of Lighting girl (I forget the author sorry) is also great realistic fiction. Good romances (13 and up probably) are The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon, the Fault in our Stars by John Green, and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. The Wings of Fire books by Tui Sutherland are quick reads about dragons, and supper addictive. Also, the Hobbit by JRR Tolkien is easier to read than the Lord of the Rings, so that's a good option, too. If you're looking for something historical/non-fiction, try The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. The Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger is fantasy and super good. The Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale are fairy tale-esque and amazing. The Maze Runner is cool if you're looking for post apocolyptic type books. If you manage to get through the Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion really helps you understand JRR Tolkien's world more, though to read that book you need some serious stamina (the Silm is DENSE)
Okay, apologies for that long post. I tried to cover as many categories as possible. I have more, but I think I've already overwhelmed you guys... anywayyy happy reading!!

I have read almost all of those books xD Coyote Sunrise is so good!! One of my favorite realistic fictions.

hMMMM, well, uh, hold on, lemme think.
Ok, I really enjoyed The Other Wes Moore, The Sweetness at the bottom of the Pie, and I'm trying to get Art of War to read it for the memes but who knows, it might actually be a good book.

Ok, so I have a high reading level but do not particularly like books with high reading levels like nonfiction and 900-page books. I do like realistic fiction and some fantasy. If anybody knows what AR is, books around 6.0 at the very least, please!
(December 2, 2020 - 12:04 pm)
@The Sage Wolf I'm not sure what an AR is, sorry, but I'd recommend the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. It's fantasy, the books are long but not too long, and if you have a high reading level it will most likely be a fun read. It's not that high level and they're really good

Wow same! I have the exact same reading criteria. I have so many realistic fiction recommendations, so here we go.
-Listen Slowly by Thanhha Lai. It's about a Vietnamese American girl who is forced to spend her summer in Vietnam where her dad, a doctor, has been called to help children with cleft palates. She expects to hate it, and kind of does at first, but she makes some unexpected friends and has some interesting experiences. There's also Inside Out and Back Again by the same author, it's a little more famous and it's about Vietnam war refugees.
-Anything by Kate DiCamillo is really good. She's a really cool author with a really interesting and unusual style. The Raymie Nightingale trilogy is really good, I think I'd recommend that.
-Anything by Erin Entrada Kelly. She does realistic fiction and fantasy, and usually has Filipino themes. Her books are Blackbird Fly (I think that's my favorite), You Go First, Hello Universe (the G and K keys are next to the H and L and I almost wrote Gekko Universe lol), Lalani of the Distant Sea, and We Dream Of Space. Oh! And also the Land of Forgotten Girls.
Yup that's it!

Inside Out and Back Again is really good! I read it over the summer and enjoyed it a bunch. I didn't know that there was a third Raymie Nightingale book! I've read two of the three, but I'll have to put a hold on the next one. Also, Erin Entrada Kelly is such a good author. My library has a couple of her books, and they were super good reads! I'll definitely second these recommendations. :)

Help! I don't have a book to read! I like fantasy books because they are interesting and cool.
I also really like The Tale Of Desperoux .It is really well written.
(December 13, 2020 - 7:49 pm)
Harry Potter (series) by JK Rowling, Percy Jackson (series) by Rick Riordan, Serafina (series) by Robert Beatty, Unwanteds (series) by Lisa McMann, Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale, Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger (series), the Land of Stories (series) by Chris Colfer, Princess Academy by Shannon Hale (series).
I hope this was helpful! I'm not sure how old you are so I stuck with books that are good to read from ages 10 up. These are all fantasy btw.

You might like Septimus Heap by Angie Sage. It's funny and a cool plot. Also just about my favorite series ever. It'll also keep you occupied for a while, there's 7 books.
