I've tried to make this thread before... it didn't work. Here's hoping I'm not the only KotLC fan here...
Anyhow, has anyone read the Keepr of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger?

Favorite elf character: Linh Song or Marella Redek.
Favorite non-elf character: Flori or Ro
Favorite place: Lumenaria or Aluveterre (because underground forest?!)
Favorite book and why: Neverseen, because my favorite things in the series happen here.
Favorite ship: Bianex (Biana + Dex). Lylie (Linh + Wylie) is my second favorite, though...
If you were an elf, what ability would you want and why?: Hydrokinetic! Because water is my favorite element and also Linh.
Least favorite character and why: Fitz! He annoys me.
Least favorite book and why: Flashback. Come on, there's only so much Fitzphie I can take.

Well I can try, but it's been a lil while....
Favorite major character: Dex, Tam, Linh
Favorite minor character: Grady & Edaline
Favorite place: Grady and Edaline's house
Favorite book: aaaaah I'm really bad at remembering which one is which! I think it's Exile.
Favorite ship: I don't really have one, I'm not much of a ship person when it comes to elves
Ability: Telepathy ;) Reading minds would be helpful at times and if you're like Sophie, you can help people!
Least Favorite character: Fitz....he has literally no personality, and is SO annoying in general
Least Favorite Book: Flashback for the same reasons as you! :/

Least favorite character and why: Uh, probably Keefe's mum.
Least favorite book and why: Haven't got one. Maybe Legacy because I lost it, left it out in the rain, and ended up having to pay the library 20 dollars for it XD

Favorite Place: The Goblin City. Whatever It's Called.
Favorite Book, Why: Can't remember enough to differentiate books. So yeah.
Fave Ship: My fanfiction OC and Biana! i.e. Sophie + Keefe
Ability: Mind reading? Pyrokinetic? Wow, I should really reread these books, but I'm not allowed to read fantasy anymore...*snff*

Ooh I really like this series! *does a little happy dance*
Favorite elf character: Probably either Sophie or Linh.
Favorite non-elf character: Ro, because she is hilarious and unabashedly Ro.
Favorite place: Hmmmm I'd say Atlantis
Favorite book and why: It's a tie between Nightfall and Legacy. Nightfall because some really amazing things happen, and Legacy because the story is super complex and intense; there's also some really good character building.
Favorite ship: I don't know if you mean only elvin ships, but Sandor+Grizel (Grizor? Sanzel?) is sooooo sweet.
If you were an elf, what ability would you want and why?: I'd want Psiniopath, which is way more powerful than anyone realizes.
Least favorite character and why: I could go for the obvious and say Vespera or Lady Gisela, but I really dislike Fitz because he can be a huge jerk sometimes and just isn't that great.
Least favorite book and why: I like them all, but I agree there's toooooooooo much Fitzphie in Flashback.
Also, conspiracy theories! Does anyone have any theories for what Keefe's mysterious new ability is? I'm guessing that it might be both Flasher and Shade, since the transformation used both ethertine and shadowflux, or it might be something no one's ever seen before! (Hey, it happened to Sophie)

I think he's going to be a Conjuror because remember how Lady Gisela (BLECH) made him go through extra ability testing in that one.
But you're right, the ethertine (solidified quintessence, right?) and shadowflux do seem to point to Flasher/Shade.

I love these ideas!! Conjuror does seem likely; if she tested him extra for it and he didn't get it, it'd be juuuust like her to give it to him anyway. On the Flasher/Shade theory, I realized that wouldn't make much sense from a writer's point of view, because then Tam and Wylie would kind of be useless. So I'm thinking Conjuror. Plus, that's one of those underrated ablities. *cough cough dropping the neverseen into the void COUGH COUGH*
Also, what do you think stellarlune is? For context, it's only mentioned when Lady Gisela (I'm going to pull a Ro and call her Lady Creeptastic) says: "All stellarlune does is use the natural forces in the world to bring out someone's full potential!" and at the end, when Oralie reveals it's a Forgotten Secret and offers to unlock the answers with Sophie (GASP is that why Unlocked is called Unlocked?!). And if you break it down into it's roots, "stellar" means star, and "lune" means moon. So, moon of the stars???? Also, if it's important enough to be part of a Forgotten Secret, so then how does Lady Creeptastic know about it?
