Chatterbox: Blab About Books

This is one of my favorite books.

And I disapprove of having favorite books, usually, but I really love this book so much that it can break all the rules in the world. It is the only book in the world that can make me cry harder the second time I read it than the first. This thread is (obviously) where you can share thoughts about how you wish it could have turned out, what some of your favorite quotes are, and which characters you like best.

Oh, and you can discuss the movie, as well. I thought it was pretty good, not as good as the book, of course, but as good as you could expect a movie adaptation of a book to be. It made me cry. Really hard. In a good way.
