Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Nonfiction: especially WWII
Hi everybuggy! I...

Hi everybuggy! I didn't look through all 109 pages of "Blab about Books", but I didn't see that there was a nonfiction post, so I wanted to start one. What is your favorite topic in history? I love learning about WWII especially the aircraft of that time. I mean, I am a total aircraft geek. And not just WWII era but almost all aircraft except first flight and WWI. That just is boring for me.

Hi little bro! I know you probably know this, but other CBers don’t, soooo, I really like the space era. I also love love love the ancient Greeks and Romans. FDR is really cool. So is Ghandi. (If I spelled his name wrong tell me) The most recent history is really cool too!

Hiya! Although I can rarely find good books about it, I love learning about basically any American history from the 20th century. I especially love the book Countdown by Deborah Wiles, it's about the Cold War (I think) and is really good historical fiction as well as school kids drama XD - also there is this book, The Lions of Little Rock I think it's called?, which is really interesting. It's about like the integration in schools. I find WWII pretty interesting too

Ah! Another good read: I Am David. It's so good, I'm reading it in school! It's about a boy who escapes from a work camp during the time of the USSR (after WWII). It's really easy to read and so freeeeeeakkking goooood

Yay! Another reply! Thanks for the suggestions. I think we watched the movie for I am David, but I was like six, so I don't really remember it that much. I will look for it at the library.

Ya, my teacher said that in the movie they cut like the whole ending of the book anyway, so no great loss I guess.
