I just read Little Women over break, and I was so surprised how AMAZING it was!! I totally recommend it to anyone who thinks old books are boring. THEY'RE NOT.

YES! I love Little Women! It's one of my favorite books ever! Have you seen the new movie version that just came out? It's actually surprisingly good for a movie adaptation of such a long book.

I think they portrayed Laurie pretty well also.

Oh yeah I loved the movie sooooo much! Did you know that it's nominated for best picture (Academy Awards) yes Laurie was sososososo good! I just absolutely love Jo and I personally think that she shouldn't have gotten married.

Honestly, I agree with you. So does Louisa May Alcott. I read an article about Little Women, and it said that she argued strongly against the marriage. However, if Jo hadn't gotten married, the sequels would never have been written, so there are good things about it too.

Well, yeah I guess that's true. If it had been written today she would have not married. I also think that she kinda just met Mr. Bhaer.

Oh my gosh yes why the HECK did she have to get marriiiiieeed? Good things did come out of it, you're right PygmyOwl. I also thought Laurie was amazebubbles and Beth too. I did think Dr Bhaer was waaaayyy too young. The movie had my head spinning in the sense that...so wait Jo did get married in real life(in the book) but then in her own book she also got married but Louisa May Alcott didn't..? Anyway I should probably watch the other movies.

I sssoooo liked the movie! It was way better than an older one I've seen. I think that the movie helped me understand the book better. I'm currently rereading the book. It's really good.
