What's the weirdest...
What's the weirdest book you've ever read? My weirdest book was The Secret Order of the Gumm Street Girls. It involved giant talking potatoes, and evil witches who wanted to turn them into French fries...

Um... probably A Year Down Yonder. It was VERY weird, but an interesting book. I do recommend it. But be prepared for STRANGENESS.

Hm... I've read a lot of bizarre books. Pseudonymous Bosch... Douglas N. Adams... Lemony Sincket... those are some of the strangest authors I've ever read books by. Strange in a good way, of course.

That was quick.

Strange Happenings, by Avi. That was a really weird book, plus some of it was scary. Like, it wasn't really scary, it just weirded you out to the point of being terrified of what was going to happen next. And I had bad dreams after I read it. (That doesn't usually happen to me with books.)

Captain Underpants. I read those a long time ago and thought that they were hilarious. Now, they're just weird.

It's not WEIRD, exactly, just kind of different... The Fruit Bowl Project doesn't really have a story, except one that is repeated many times. It's hard to explain. Anyone else read it?

The weirdest book I've ever read, is probably Harley. It's not a chapter book though.
And Lord of the Rings. Well I guess not really WEIRD, but it was so hard to understand.

LotR? Nah...

I could understand LotR perfectly well, but my mom can't!
What I can't understand is The Silmarillion, by the same author.
In my opinion, Lemony Snicket's books were weird, but not as weird as tSOotGSG.
I haven't read the other books listed...

Hitchhikers. And everything related to Hitchhikers. Exploding whales and shoe-shaped spaceships and flying sofas and poetry-spouting aliens and and and... *goes cross-eyed* Definately the weirdest series evah. I love how one of the characters learns how to fly by throwing himself at the ground and missing...

Ah, could you possibly mean The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? I quite agree.

Yeah, the Silmarillion is hard to read, if you don't read every single word and sentence. Since it covers all three ages, it has to move at a really fast pace. Also, it is not a novel. I tis a history, pure and simple. BUT, the most beautiful, tragic, majestic history EVER. Also, yu should be able to tell by my name that I am a fanatic.
