I love this...

I love this book!

Everyone should read it.

It's about rabbits going to find a new home. I know it sounds really cheesy, but there are actually some pretty serious issues they face.

Who else loves this??? And who's your fav character? Mine's Blackberry.

What do you think of the rabbits' culture, language, etc.?

What do you think of the writing style in general?

Watership Down is on my top five list of favorite books of all time!!! My favorite character is Bigwig, but Blackberry and Hazel are up there too. Seriously, not enough people have read this book. My copy is super old and beat up - it was my mom’s when she was a kid, and even she got it second hand! It’s all taped together and barely keeping from falling apart, but that’s just what we like to call a well-loved book. Luckily I have a second copy that’s actually readable. I love all details about rabbit culture, and it’s so cool how they have their own language and everything. I really need to reread it... it’s been a couple years, but I read it three times in a row, and once before that too :)

My dad has been reading it to us before bed and we're almost done, I think. I love the story, culture, and writing style! It's very unique and enticing to have an entire story on the life of rabbits, which people would have otherwise thought led boring lives. My favorite characters so far are Blackberry, Fiver, and Hysenthlay.

I recently finished watching the Netflix Series. I haven't read the book yet though. Can the show compare at all?
