Can't believe this...

Can't believe this series hasn't been mentioned before.......Has anyone else read it? Awesome, right? One reason I love it is the setting.....Portland, Oregon! Yeeeeeees! I often feel as if good  ol'Oregon is overlooked; AND I live very near Portland.

I also love the books because - well, this might sound sort of stuck-up or something, but I can somehow totally sympathize with them as an author. I mean...I can sort of imagine myself writing them, in a way, although my ideas and inspirations are quite different from Colin Meloy's. It's just that often as I read the Wildwood Chronicles I find myself saying "Ooooh he had to do this in order to make this happen," etc. OK well enough of my babbling; who else has read this awesome series?

I love Wildwood!!! I haven’t read it in many years (mainly because my copy is a wreck and I am scared to read it for fear of breaking it - it’s a hardcover) but it’s always been one of my favorites.

I read it awhile ago and LOVED it! Maybe I'll revisit the world of Wildwood soon...
