Harry Potter & Percy Jackson
...
Does anybody else re-read the Harry Potter series and go: "Wait- why is Percy Jackson at Hogwarts?" and then remember it's Percy Weasley?
(Sorry, short post, just wondering...)

That specifically has never happened to me, but if I'm reading two books at once and switch between them, part of my brain thinks I'm reading the other book and I'm trying to fit the words of one with the context of the other and it's just really weird.

Yes! My family is reading two books at once right now, and both of the main characters have missing or dead mothers and strange friends. It’s really hard to keep the two books straight. Btw the books are Navigating Early and Walk Two Moons.

This has never happened to me, but it is weird when you switch and have to adjust to Percy having a completely different character.

and yes, I get the reference.
