The Guardians of Ga'Hoole
It seems like...

It seems like no one has ever heard of this series by Kathryn Lasky; it's GREAT!! I strongly suggest you read them. There are 15 books and a special guide!

I loved reading Guardians of Ga'Hoole! Owls are also one of my favourite animals, sooo, the books fit perfectly to me. Kathryn Lasky has also written a book about half-mermaids. It's also a good book, but I LOVED the Guardians of Ga'Hoole waaay better!

It's weird that you say that no one has ever heard of the series, because I only started reading it because it's so popular!:D:D:D I'm glad that I decided to read the first one, because I really like them now!:D:D:D I'm borrowing them from the library, and I'm on the 2nd one now.:):):) They're really good!:):):)

The first 8 were good, but the new ones were just bad.

I love the series, but has anyone noticed how Nyra seems kinda invincible or something? I mean, we don't meet her until a few books into the series, but she's already fully grown when we do meet her, which means she's been alive througout ALL FIFTEEN BOOKS so far! Now, I'm still in the middle of the newest one (The War of the Ember), but she's still alive now. Ni! I just wanna strangle her!

He-he, sorry about the rant. Mrs. Plithiver's really cool, though.

Don't worry, Coryn (yay Coryn!) kills her at the end.

But he also puts the ember back in the volcano and guess what? Soren is the new king!

Btw, Commander Kip, right? I'm just wondering................... have you read Have Spacesuit Will Travel by Hienlien? Because the main character's name is Kip.

Actually,no... must have been coincidence that I call myself Kipin/Commander Kip. I made an anagram of my name, and it came out to Kipin Migz Rakshana, and then I was the commander of a space shuttle at astronaut training camp last summer... so... I came up with Commander Kip.

Awwwww, the end of The War of the Ember was saaaaaaaad! *pathetic sob* Did anyone feel like the war started a little too quickly? I think she could have taken at least another book to gather the armies and stuff. The battle only happened in, like, the last two chapters or something. But Nyra dies, so I'm not complaining!

well you should try reading hienlien if u like sci-fi.

well any way the main character of Have  Spacesuit Will Travel is named Clifford actually but everybody calls him Kip, his main ambition is to go to the moon and  he gets a spacesuit in a contest and everybody in his small town teases him about it.

and this dude called ace makes fun of him all the time and so one day ace is teasing him big time and Kip says " it's a hot day,Ace."  meaning like, i don't want to have to get up and hit you,and then Ace says " is that why you're not wearing your rubber underwaer, Commander Kip?

which is why i just HAD to ask!

OMG! I only thought my sis and I and two of my bffs had EVER heard of the Guardians series! I have all the books plus the guide book and can't wait for the next extra; something like Tales of the Great Tree.  Kathryn Lasky is one of the top 5 writers on my list!

I loved these books up until number 9 or something. Then they got really boring, weird, hard to understand, etc...

Hey, everybody! there is a new guardins of ga'hoole roleplay going on, 2. on by Hawkstar, the other by Soren Dak Master. SDM is a pure ones version of Soren and Halkstar is Niro, NOT THE MATRIX, son of Pelli and Soren. There will probably be a war. I am Hawk, agent 009 in the Alex Rider Roleplay (Also by me) Hawk in an Inkheart Roleplay, Hawk in a twilight roleplay, Hawkstar in a Nightclan roleplay (By me, I am the leader) and Will in a Percy Jackson and the Olympians roleplay. Join some of these, specially the good Ga'Hoole one, the Rider one, and the Nightclan one.(Nightclan most of all.)
