Hey everyone! So I was wondering if anyone has a favorite book that they want to be made into a movie. Or a favorite book that has been made into a movie, but needs a remake.

AHHH omk they're making an Artemis Fowl movie?? YES!! Also, I'm sure you guys already knew this, but they're making a Warriors movie! And a School for Good and Evil movie too! And a Michael Vey TV series, which I'm actually quite hesitant about getting excited over!
Also, yes, I agree about the Percy Jackson movies. I find them completely hilarious--not in a bad way; they're just so radically different from the books that they're almost like a comedy. The director said he didn't want to try and make the movie exactly like the book because 'that's what they did for Harry Potter, and the fans didn't receive the Harry Potter movies well'. (I have to disagree there, but maybe at the time the Harry Potter movies weren't quite as famous as they are now?)
~I think Wings of Fire should be turned into something like a Netflix show. It would make a really good animated/cartoon-type thing, but I'd love to see it as a super-realistic CGI movie kind of like Dinosaur, where they add the dragons into filmed footage.
~Another thing I think would be completely and utterly amazing as a movie--(It's not really a book, but...)--is Kyngdom. Think of how deep Kyngdom's plot goes. It could be turned into a series with episodes an hour long, and become the equivalent a 20+ hour movie, chronicling the adventures and the world. It would be super cool to see all our characters come to life like that.

I just read a pretty good book called These Broken Stars. Parts of it were incredibly weird and there was a lot of romance but other than that it would probably make a good movie. Its kinda like a space version of Titanic.

I know this is already a movie, but I think How To Train Your Dragon should be redone. Ya know, a movie that's actually based on the book (which is absoloutely amazing by the way, you should read it. I mean it, read the book! You won't regret it!) Don't get me wrong, I like the movie, but it really is nothing like the book. It's stopped alot of people from reading it because they didn't like the movie, or they think the book must be too "childish".

I agree! I loved the original movies, but when I read the books, they were really awesome and it would be cool to see a movie or TV show with the book's storyline.

Oh! Oh! Oh! Cassandra! They're actually making a Land of Stories movie!
And AMEN LEELI!!! Keeper of the Lost Cities needs to be made into movies. GOOD ones. I must admit, I'm always a little worried that the people making these things will totally flunk them like what I heard happened with A Wrinkle in Time and with PJO.
I am suuuper excited for the Warriors movie, and reeeally hoping they won't mess it up or make it cheesy. If they make the cats and stuff CG and make it look really awesome like in the new Jungle Book awesome, I am going to f-reak. (In an ultra-overjoyed way, XD.)
Ooooh, and the Winterling trilogy should totally be made into movies. And Rain Reign, as well. (Has anyone read it? It's really good!) Oh, and one of the sequels to A Wrinkle in Time, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, is REALLY good. Probably one of the best books I've ever read; that deserves a movie, too. A really good one.
Welp one more thing(xD yes more): Pax should absolutely be a movie. The book will always be better- it just will- but it would make an amazing and powerful movie. But if they added some sort of epilogue onto it I would be really mad, because an epilogue would ruin it. You will understand why if you've read the book.

Oh, yes, I totally agree with you, Aspen. Pax should definitely be made into a movie. It's such an amazing book!

Oh man, everything Rick Riordan needs a remake. Also SPOILERS: In the new Trials of Apollo book, The Burning Maze, Apollo, Leo, and Calypso get Piper and Jason's help, but Piper and Jason BREAK UP!!!!!!!! And then JASON DIES. I exploded when I found out. I almost cried. Rick Riordan has made me cry. ( It was Silena Beauregard's death.) Aaaaaand I'm babbling like an idiot.
P.S. THERE'S A TOWN IN ALSAKA CALLED VALDEZ. Leo will freak if he finds out. * Leo sees screen* WAHOOO! I'M FAMOUS!!!!!

Maximum Ride needs a redo SO BAD. I cannot believe all of the stuff they got wrong, and most of it didn’t even make much sense. I was EXTREMELLY disappointed.
