Let's see, I've read Hunger Games, Little House On the Prarie (and all of the prequel and sequel books, actually, like the Caroline Years, Martha Years, Rose Years [Which have a bit more things of adult nature in them, FYI] ect.), and I've watched the movie of Miss Peregrine's Home for Pecliar Children. Hunger Games I really liked, the first book gave me actual nightmares for two days, but the ending was unsatisfactory in my opinion. Little House On the Prarie is a sweet book collection I will always treasure. And I don't know if the book is anything like the movie, but I greatly enjoyed the movie of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children! Some of my favorites are:

Keeper of the Lost Cities(!!!!!!! *cue fangirl squeal*)

Six of Crows

The Mysterious Benedict Society

Anne of Green Gables

The Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series

Harry Potter(ish)

And nothing else comes to mind at the moment, but I'm sure I'll think of some more later on.

i have to agree with you @vyolette, the ending of the hunger games was really bad, she obviously belonged with Gale

Well... I ship Peeta + Katniss, sooo XD But yes, the ending just seemed like it, well, ended, but not because they had suceeded in their plan. Mostely because everything fell apart after she killed the leader, (I forget her name) then she and Peeta were kinda forgotten. It just... lagged way too much for my taste.

I just read The Mysterious Benedict Society, and... is the rest of the series worth reading? Like, the ending doesn't end like a book should end if it's the first book in the series. Why does everyone get adopted?! That alone makes it seem like the sequels are unnecessary. Everyone has a family, Mr. Curtain is defeated (as far as I know), the Whisperer is dismantled. Why are there more books? And are they as good as the first one?

YES THEY ARE AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE. And yes, the do get adopted, but there's a whole lot more to their families and stuff later on. As to why there are more books? Well, Mr. Curtain isn't actually defeated. He's a reaccuring character in the books, the main "bad guy", so to speak. And yeah, now that I think about it, the ending to the first book is not one you would tipically think would be the first to the series. Like, there isn't a whole lot that compells you to read the next book ASAP because there isn't really a cliffhanger. But yes. READ THE BOOKS. You will not be dissapointed.

My all time favorite series is unequivocally A Series of Unfortunate Events, a word which here mean unarguably, a word which here means one hundred percent.

And, as much as I thought I'd hate it, the Netflix series is awesome.
