CHRIS COLFER, (The authour of this wonderful series) IS WRITING AND DIRECTING A MOVIE BASED OFF OF THE FIRST BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so exited for it already!

I've read it! Not my favorite series, but enticing enough that I pre-ordered the last book online, so now I own it XD Wow, there's going to be a MOVIE of Land of Stories?! I will definatly watch that, whenever it comes out. Do you know when?

I read the first book, and actually I made a thread on it awhile back. It wasn't my favorite book, but I did like it. It got better as the book went on. I'll probably end up reading the other book sometime.

I read the whole series. Pretty decent. (Good.) Chris Colfer's style is really interesting, it's very simple, almost childish, yet he managed to become really famous with them, too. And a movie? I imagine it'll be hard to pull off, but let's see.

I read the first three or four or something and then decided to stop reading them. They were pretty good, but not exactly my kind of book.

Well... you can see how I feel about THAT! I've only actually read the first book and listened to the second, but the third is on my "to-read" list. I have a lot of books I'm already reading and I have two books waiting at the library. But I'm gonna get to books 3-5 ASAP. (But isn't there a sixth? Or am I imagining things?)

'Tis true, I like Land of Stories, but it's not my favorite book series by any means, and I have some issues with it.

ISSUE #1: Alex and Connor lack in character development. It's extremely annoying.

ISSUE #2: The writing isn't all that great.

ISSUE #3: The ending of the 2nd book was good, but I have a problem with how Chris Colfer separated Alex and Connor that way.

That is all I have to say.

Hmm... That series was suggested to me. It sounds cool, so I may read it sometime in the future. I heard Chris Colfer is a really young author. Hmm.....

I read book one, couldn't find book two, recommended it to my sister, finally found book two read it, gave it to my sister, and now she's ahead of me. Honestly it's kind of embarrassing, but I think they're good so far...
