Hello! This is

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Ultimate CB Book Log 2018
Hello! This is...

Hello! This is a continuation of Owlgirl’s thread. Just post a book or list of books you have read recently. I would like it if there was some conversation, and when people posted they would say what they liked about the book they read. But you don’t have to!

Some books I read are;

Pippi Longstocking, by Astrid Lindgren. I love the carefreeness and the sense of place.

In Other Lands, by Sarah Res Brennan. Still not finished! It turns a lot of stereotypes on their head, and has amazing art!

Why don't we just continue posting on the other Book Log? As soon as people stop posting in there, it will bottom because it's so old, and all of those wonderful book reccomendations will be lost to the void......I am going to keep posting in the other Book Log, and I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, as I said it's just a suggestion......

I think it would be great to do that, that way we could have one gigantic archive of books that we liked and the book log wouldn't bottom like you said.

@Admins Is there any problems with making such a large thread? Would it shut down or something?

There are no problems that I know of. I have queried our webmaster, but I'm unlikely to get a reply until at least Tuesday.

Admin

P.S. I just heard from our Webmaster. One long thread should be fine. There are no known problems to limit the length.

Bibliophile, our webmaster says there are no known problems that limit the lenght of any thread, so one giant book thread should be fine.

Oooh, I love Pippi Longstocking!!! I read it.... hmm..... 5th Grade maybe? Anyway, I agree we should keep the 2017 booklog going, but we can still post our 2018 books on here, especially for people who weren't a part of the last thread.

A Sliver Of Stardust by Marissa Burt. I have the second on hand and will read it soon.

Some of The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The Book That Proves Time Travel Happens  by Henry Clark. He's also the author of What We Found In The Sofa And How It Saved The World. Good books.

The Zodiac Legacy: Convergance and The Dragon's Return by Stan Lee and Stuart Moore and illustrated by Andie Tong.

The Whiz Mob And The Grenadine Kid by Colin Meloy and illustrated by Carson Ellis. You might recognize them as the creators of Wildwood.

Thornghost by Tone Almhjell.

Monstrous and Ravenous by MarcyKate Connolly. Yeah, MarcyKate with no space. Cool.

The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan.

Greenglass House by Kate Milford.

Some Kind Of Happiness by Claire Legrand.

The Inquisitor's Tale by Adam Gidwitz, author of A Tale Dark And Grimm and the next two books. I really liked The Inquisitor's Tale. Totally original.

Whew. Enough for now.
