Okay, so I'm...

Okay, so I'm reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the first time, and I have some weird predictions. No spoilers, please!

-I think that Professor Umbridge is a decoy (like Snape in the first book) and that either a1) one of the teachers is under the Imperius Curse or a2) one of the teachers is an imposter (like what happened with Moody and Crouch) or b) Professor What's-her-name the Care of Magical Creatures professor is the evil one.

-I think that the horse-things on the "horseless carriages" have always been there, and it's just that only some people can see them.

-I think that Dumbledore had a good reason for not making Harry prefect, such as it further tarnishing his (Dumbledore's) reputation.

-I think that Luna Lovegood is going to turn out to be important.

-I think that Lucius Malfoy the Death Eater is passing information to Draco and possibly planning an attack on Harry.

-I think that Hermione is going to be the actual Griffindor prefect that does things while Ron doesn't do much.

-I think that the Sorting Hat is very right that they need to band together or they'll all die.

More later once I read more!

I just noticed that I probably should have called it Predictions because it isn't really inferences, but anyway...

-I think Dumbledore was only avoiding Harry so that Harry didn't get in even more if a mess.

-I think that the Sorting Hat is very sentient and has a strong political opinion.

Ooh, nice to know! I thought about these for a while.

-I think that Cornelius Fudge delayed the time of Harry's trial simply so Dumbledore wouldn't be able to come.

-I have this feeling that Sirius is going to get caught.

I finished the book yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! So I was planning to post this little rant thingie which is what was going through my head when I had to stop in the middle of that last scene:

NO IT'S A TRAP I KNEW IT WAS A TRAP WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID HARRY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
