Anyone read Bartimaeus? First book is The Amulet of Samarkand, and I'm in middle of the second, The Golem's Eye. They're really good with a wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor. Go read them!

I actually have read the first one. It was in the display during banned books week, so I checked it out. I found it very well imagined and complex, but I thought it dragged a bit in the middle. The beginning and end were really good, though!
