This is one of my favorite books and is writen by Marsha Forchok Skrypuch. This is a novel of a young girl named Lida that lived in Verenhanka, but she and her sister Larissa are forced to leave their home with their parents already dead. They go to a medical check and are separated. Lida was forced on to a cattle car and sent off. What horrors of WWII will she face? Will she ever find Larissa if she gets out and survives the war? If you want to find the answers and go on an amazing adventure with Lida you need to read this book! Hope you like it!
