Have a favorite quote from a book? Here is a thread where you can share awesome, hilarious, or just plain weird, quotes or passages from good books. Please include the title and author of the book it comes from. You can choose any line from any book from The Hobbit to Heidi. Enjoy!
P.S. Do you like this idea @Admins?
Yes, I think it's a great idea, as long as people quote carefully and list the book and author.

I love book quotes! Here are some of my favorites.
"The thing about growing up with Fred and George is that you sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve." - J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter
"Live in the present, remember the past, and fear not the future, for it doesnt exist and never shall, there is only now." - Christopher Paolini, the Inheritance Cycle
"You don't treat me like a child." He smiled. "Of course I do, but you seem to have this ridiculous notion that being treated like a child means to be treated with less respect than an adult." - Derek Landy, Skulduggery Pleasant: the Faceless Ones

Many that live deserve death, and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then be not too eager to deal out death in the name of justice, fearing for your own safety. Even the wise cannot see all ends. -Gandalf, from Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers, by J.R.R. Tolkien

These are all in the same books:
"It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends."
"To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."
"Of course this is happening inside your head, but why on earth does that mean it's not real?" or something like that.
"Ah, music! A magic beyond all we do here!"
"It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
In Harry Potter, by J.K. Rowling.
I absolutely love these books. I can read them a hundred times over (I've already read them many, many times) and not get bored at all.
