Silent Book Club...?
OK. You guys....
OK. You guys. I just heard about the coolest thing EVER. It's called a Silent Book Club (big surprise xD)
The way this would work IRL is you get a group of people together at some place like a library or a cafe or something. Everyone reads whatever they want to read, (the key here) and brings the book to the meeting. At the meeting, everyone says a little bit about the book they're reading and how they feel about it, and then after everyone has gone, everyone shuts up and reads.
So, here's the way I thought it would go on Cricket.
Everyone chooses a book they want to read, and declares it out before the "meeting." Then, over the course of a week, everyone posts a bit about that book and their feelings about it so far. Then we could set up a meeting time at the end of the week, almost like a live chat?, but where everyone just READS. You can read for as long as you'd like and as much as you'd like or whatever book you'd like! It doesn't have to be the one you declared!

I'd love to join this! One question, I'm about half way done with the book that I'm reading now, would it be okay if I read that one this week, or do I have to start a new book?

I'm currently reading a few books, all in a series. They are mangas, The Legend of Zelda series by Akira Himewama, I think? The images are GORGEOUS in these. I've tryed to replicate many, I may post them...we'll see! :P

KtG, I love that series!!! :D My fave was the first, for sure.
Coyote, don't worry about comittment, if you'd like to just jump in, you can. :D
By the way, updates! I've read more of TLOZ Mangas, but I also read three GWR* books and a different manga, Chi's Sweet Home (about a kitty). Also rereread Cinder and am rereading Scarlet. I like these books too much.
In my TBR are the last two books of the Inventor's Secret trilogy (recommended for 14-15+, ask your parents. ;)) and the Chi's Sweet Home (recommended for all ages.)
The TLoZ Mangas I would recommend for 10+ and the Lunar Chron I would recommend for 13+.
*Guiness World Records. Mainly Gamers Editions. Call me a nerd, but what doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger. ;)

Wootwooooot! Just finished a nonfic book entitled ART OF ATARI by Tim Lepetino. It was cool. ;D
About to start reading a book just called STEAMPUNK! I forgot who it's by at the moment. XD
