This is a really great book. It's about a really rich Mexican girl (she's not spoiled or anything, though) who ends up in a California work camp...yeah it's a really good book. It's by Pam Munoz Ryan, and I like her other books, too.

I love this book, too! My mom got a signed copy for me! I did a book club on it, and everyone in the club loved it, too! Anyway,I realy love the book! Do you know the names of her other books?

 Becoming Naomi Leon

 Paint the Wind

And there is one more, I think, but I can't remember what it's called. Oh, and she wrote a couple of books for younger kids.

Esparanza Rising is one of my most favorite books in the whole world.  I was so mad at Miguel when he took the money until i read the part where he got her grandma.

She so is spoiled!! (not that it matters). Anyway, I loved this book. Amazing. Becoming Naomi is really good, too.
