Read The Wingfeather Saga!!! They're an amazing four-book series by Andrew Peterson, and they are SO. GOOD. They aren't that popular, which is really sad, because they're so good! I actually named my CB name after one of my favorite charries in the series. Anyway, totally read them! :D Also, what genres do you like? I bet I can give you a bunch of other suggestions based on that.

What books do you like?

If you like fantasy, read the Wings of Fire series, or Keeper of the Lost Cities.
If you like mystery/action, read the 39 clues books. I personally like something a little less modern, so right now I'm reading Cheaper by the Dozen. I also enjoyed Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library, which is pretty modern, but I loved it.

Thanks so much, everyone! That's really helpfull.
@crookshanks I'll give it a try, looks great!
@june, heard of it but never read it. Thanks, Il'l give it a try. I love those sorts of books.
@Bibliophile, I like a variety of different types, my favourites being Historical fiction, action/adventure, fantasy and realistic fiction. Thanks!
@butterfly, thanks thats really helpful. I love all three of those genres so I think I'll try them all.
Thanks guys!

Heaven Looks A Lot Like the Mall by Wendy Mass. It's one of her lesser-known books, and it's about a girl who "re-visits" key parts in her life and re-evaluates herself as a person, like a modern day A Christmas Carol. Also, it's written in poetry format the entire time.
The Gallery by Laura Marx Fitzgerald. It's set in the roaring twenties, about a girl who becomes a maid in this super rich mansion, and she tries to help the woman who's essentially held captive there to escape. Persephone, the Greek goddess, appears a lot, as well as pomegranates!
The Book Thief. This is probably my all-time favorite. It's a book about a German girl during the Holocaust. She adores books, and goes as far as to steal them. She's a foster child with two parents she learns to love, and they hide a Jew. It's also really sad.

Hey Caroline, I have never read The Book Thief, but my sisters read it so we got to watch the movie. It was extremely sad, but it was really well done. Have you watched it?
(April 19, 2017 - 8:31 am)
YES! I saw the movie, and I thought it was really good. You should definitely read the book though! (It's even better). :)

OH. MY. GOSH...
Okay, I didn't know ANYBODY ELSE on here had read the Sisters Grimm, the Wondla trilogy (I LOVE the length of the books, along with the storyline... now those are books I can spend perhaps a few days reading if I do nothing else!), the Secrets of Nicholas Flamel (hint: does it have two twins named Josh and Sophie in it? If not, sorry, wrong book series...), Septimus Heap (currently rereading... Marcia <3... she is just so awesome...), The Book Thief, A Series of Unfortunate Events... Fablehaven (What can I say... pretty much the best series by Brandon Mull EVER. Have you read Dragonwatch yet?), as to the Rick Riordan... yes. Read everything by him. My friend recommended The Apothecary to me but I haven't read it yet... Wonder, Out of My Mind she also recommended to me, and I did read those... and Matilda and the BFG. So, I second what Bibliophile recommended that I know, and I must also add...
-The Starcatchers series
-The Mother Daughter Book Club Series
-Blythewood (another friend recommend... let's call her R, so that I won't always refer to her as 'a friend')
-Beyonders trilogy (also by Brandon Mull--pretty much anything of his is good, like Rick Riordan, although I still say Fablehaven [AND DRAGONWATCH!!! YESS!!!] is better...)
-The How to Train Your Dragon Series. You might have seen the movie... I haven't seen the movie, but the books are probably better. I'm curious, has anyone here read the books AND seen the movie? (I want to know how much it deviated from the original storyline...)
-Harry Potter. I know, this is something Bibliophile recommended, but it deserves a thousand recommendations, it is so good.
-Mr. Lemoncello's Library (and Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics, which is the sequel...)
-The Inheritance Cycle, by Christopher Paolini.
-The Last Dragon Chronicles by Chris d'Lacey.
-The Children of the Red King series, by Jenny Nimmo
-Wings of Fire series (all 9)
-The Dark is Rising Sequence, by Susan Cooper
-The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien (you can skip the Council of Elrond chapter the first time, but don't skip it the second time...)
-Anne of Green Gables series, by L. M. Montgomery
-Emily series, (Emily of New Moon, Emily Climbs, and Emily's Quest), by L. M. Montgomery
-The Princess Bride by William Goldman
-Little Women (and Little Men and Jo's Boys), by Louisa May Alcott
-An Old-Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott
-Eight Cousins (and A Rose in Bloom), by Louisa May Alcott
-The Glass Sentence, The Golden Compass, and The Crimson Skew, by S. E. Grove (Three separate books)
-The Willow Falls series by Wendy Mass (I don't know if that's their technical name, but it should be...)
Aaaand I think I've run dry... temporarily ;) .

OH MY GOSH YOUV'E READ THE GLASS SENTANCE! i love that series! (I still have to read the Crimson Skew, it's been sitting on my nightstand for ages).
You should definately read The Apothecary, it's the best!!! Also, I love Lemoncello's Library too, although I haven't read the sequel. Unfortunetly I haven't read anything els of Brandon Mull's but Fablehaven, and that was a few years ago. I love Septimus Heap though, and I'm gonna re-read it after I finish re-reading Harry Potter, and then the Percy Jackson series too. Have you read Magnus Chase?
(Sorry, this is an endless book rant)
(April 20, 2017 - 2:33 pm)
Yup! And the Red Pyramid trilogy! Have you read those? You should read Dragonwatch whenever it comes to your library! It's the first book in the sequel series to... (drumroll please...)
(April 20, 2017 - 3:18 pm)
I have seen the books and the movies and I love, love, love thr books and dont like the movies so much. It didnt really stick to the storyline as much as I thought it would. By that I mean it didnt stick to the storyline AT ALL. Sorry.
