Nancy Drew
Hello!Does a ...

Hello!

Does anyone like the Nancy Drew series? I love them!  It's amazing how those girls solve mysteries.  Nancy is an amazing detective.  She is awesome!  Bess, George, and Nancy are great friends.  It's nice how Nancy's friends are willing to help evan though they know they might be in danger.  I hope somebuggy out there likes Nancy Drew.

I used to love those when I was in fifth grade! The recent movie was dreadful though.

I finally finished the whole series last year! Only the original ones, though. The newer ones seemed cheesy to me.

I think the books are pretty good. I've read a few. By "newer ones", Brynne, do you mean the new versions or the new series? I really don't care what version I read, but the new series does look pretty bad.

I love those... I'd read all of them by the end of third grade. Of course- and the same goes for Hardy Boys- they were all awfully alike and you just know that before the book is over there's going to have to be a chapter titled, "Kidnaped!" or, "Hostage!" or something like that... typically, those were also the best chapters.

If I'm thinking of the same movie TNO (umlaut) is, I believe it was the 2007 one, it wasn't really bad- it was nothing like the books, of course, but it was relatively well done, in my opinion. (Of course, I saw it when I was eight or nine, so perhaps if I saw it now I'd think it was stupid, but that was the impression I remember having.)

Nancy Drew is great! I like the new books and the old ones. My favorite new one is Secrets Can Kill and my favorite old one...well thats hard. Probably The Sign of the Twisted Candle and The Secret of Shadow Ranch
