Gone Series Book Review

~This totally brings me back to my first post on BaB: Red Queen Review (or something with a similar title)~

Gone takes place in modern times, but in a certain area all the adults disappear, animals mutate, some people develop powers, and a dome goes up around the area. It's a dystopian fantasy (at least that's what it's considered to be). Gone is a six book series:

Gone

Hunger

Lies

Plague

Fear

Light

I recommend it to anyone middle school and up, as it can get innapropriate for younger readers at times in the last few books.

So, check it out if you like the sound of it. It's really amazing (I got it from my school library for winter break).

This doesn't have much to say in the comments, so I guess just comment if you have read the series. Who are your favorite characters? Mine are Astrid and Sam. If I had to pick one: Sastrid. It's my ship name for Astrid and Sam. Don't spoil anything, because this is a review!
Sincerely,
Moonlight

The 'Gone' books (I've read 1-2) were really good at first, but then they became really depressing and scary to me. This might be just for me (I'm an over thinker) but I became worried something similar could happen. I had to start reading the books in the daytime, afraid I'd get nightmares. The mutant bugs, odd powers, and creepy alien villain became too much for me.
