Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Good Fariy Tale Books
Does anyone have...

Does anyone have any good "fairytales" that I could read? Books like Redwall or Narnia things like that? (Not Harry Potter. I have them covered) I read books REALLY fast and I run out really quick so please give me some sugestions!

Ever heard of "The Unicorn Chronicles" by Bruce Coville? They're pretty good. And you should also try "The Neverending Story" - it's actually weirdly awesome. The Warrior cats series is great, too.

Neverending Story and Momo, both by Michael Ende (funny, I know, Neverending Story by a dude named Ende, right?)

The Little Prince

The Wheel of Time series; there are eleven books with three more coming out, each one about 700-800 pages, so it'll probably last you awhile.

Any book by Sharon Creech, she's really good.

I'll be back with some more later, ok?

Ella Enchanted, by Gail Carson Levine. It's not very long though, so you'd probably finish it pretty quickly. :)

Any Gail Carson Levine books are good, and the Percy Jackson and the Olympian Series are fantastic.

Yah, read Fairest.

Oh, have you read The Swan Maiden?  It's really good.  And Aurelie.  It's by the same author, and goes to fast, but it's still good.

Um... let's see.  I read really fast too, and it's hard to think, I've read too many books.  Hmm...

Oh, what about Beauty?

Would The Legend Of Holly Clause count?

Oh, man, I've read so many, and they're right on the tip of my tongue.....   AAARRRGGG!!!!!!

What about Once Upon A Marigold?   It's funny.

Ok, I'm probably no help at all.  Sorry.

Oh WAIT!!!  Water Shaper and Perilous Guard.  Those are really good.

I Coriander

The Faery Path.  By looking at the cover, I thought it would be really stupid, but it was so good.  And you have to read the to books that follow it, too.  I haven't read the last one yet, but after reading the other two, I have no doubt it's good.

Oh, what about The Crystal Doors?

Ok, some of those aren't exactly fairy tales, but they're all really good.

Gotta go. Bye!

Basically anything Gail Carson Levine, or- ohoh, so great- The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley. And Just Ella is good, as are the Princess Diaries (sort of), if you're, say, over the age of eleven or twelve.

You could always read the Grimm fairytales if you don't mind a bit of gore. =]
