F: Jadestar. My only surviving kit, Streakkit, is the SECOND OLDEST kit in the clan, and yet, he's not an apprentice!!!
S: Yes, Jadestar, I was here since page four. You asked Swirlingpelt and Sagefire to make their kits early apprentices, yet you didn't ask fleetfoot.
F: Let me handle this, Streakkit. More than one human month has passed, and yet, you ask queens that have only have had their kits for a day, be apprentices. We might leave soon, so streakkit can get trained properly, by cats who appreciate his age. Think about what I have said.

*limps out to highrock and yowls* All cats old enough to catch their own pray, gather before me for a meeting. Streakkit, Blazeklit, and Shadekit, you are now old enough to be apprentices. I Jadestar, will take on Streakpaw. Swirlingpelt, please take Blazepaw on. And Feetfoot, please accept Shadekit as your apprentice.
*motions Streakpaw over* We will start training as soon as i am done healing.
*Yowls again* Now, instead of having a kit become an Apprentice, We will be adding a new warrior. Inkpaw, come here.

Oh no! I mean, yes, but no! I would LOVE to train you, Blazepaw! My kits are old enough to be by themselves for a while, so I would LOVE to be your mentor! Thats the "yes!" part. The "oh no!" part is that I'm leaving this afternoon to go to my aunts house to get ready for my aunt-to-be's wedding which is tomorrow. I'm spending the night up there. So her wedding is on the !st and then aunt-to-be (she'll be just "my aunt" by then), my uncle, my sister, my mom. my dad, and I are leaving for vascation on the 5th and wont be back til the 17th!!! I'm so sorry, Blazepaw! Jadestar, you could assign a substitute mentor whiloe I'm gone, couldn't you? *looks hopeful* Well, if you have me mentor Blazepaw when I'm back, then I'll happily mentor Streakpaw (that's your apprentice, right?) until you're up to it! :) I'll miss you all! :( I don't think I'll be able to make it on the computer another time until I'm back, so.... *looks sad* Bye! *runs off*

Dawnriver. I would love to get you an apprentice, but I hardly know you and can't trust you with an apprentice yet. But you are welcome into the clan. Shadepaw, I will be your mentor, but Dawnriver might take over if she has what it takes to be a mentor. Dawnriver, come with me please so I can see your fighting and your hunting skills.
