Has anybody read
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
The Wondla Trilogy
Has anybody read...
Has anybody read these? I have seriously enjoyed them, and was wondering if anybody, anybody at all had read them. If you have not, I would recommend doing so. And if you had, what was your favorite part of the book? Did you like the illustrations?

So I read the first one and LOVED it,but I had NO idea that it was a trilogy. What are the next two called?

Oh my gosh! I read this book on a dare in first grade because my friends said I wouldn't be able to do it! (I finished it in a day.) It was really good, but scarcely remember the plot... I do recall, however, being really impressed with the drawings. I also had no inkling of the fact it was a trilogy.

The second and third ones are A battle for Wondla and A hero for Wondla

Goodness me...I tried reading the first book, but couldn't finish it. I don't know--it was just sort of strange to me, I guess. I did like the illustrations, though!

(P.S. I forgot to mention--I think Wondla used to spell wonderland. Am I right?)

Yes!!! They're so good! I love the illustrations so much, and all the characters and animals are so whimsical and well-thought out. Eva Nine is a really amazing hero.

Actually, my first post on here was me being really excited that Wondla was a series, Moss was talking about it. (I posted that one thing, then came back a few months later, then posted one thing, then came back, and now I'm here!)

"When a marauder destroys the underground sanctuary that Eva Nine was raised in by the robot Muthr, the twelve-year-year-old girl is forced to flee aboveground. Eva Nine is searching for anyone else like her, for she knows that other humans exist, because of an item she treasures—a scrap of cardboard on which is depicted a young girl, an adult, and a robot, with the strange word, “WondLa.” Tony DiTerlizzi honors traditional children’s literature in this totally original space age adventure: one that is as complex as an alien planet, but as simple as a child’s wish for a place to belong."
