Chatterbox: Blab About Books

For anyone who loves The Mysterious Benedict Society series:

There's a new book by Trenton Lee Stewart called The Secretkeepers, and it is an awesome book!!! I haven't finisheed it yet, but I'm on part 3.

The story is about a boy named Reuben who finds a mysterious watch hidden in a very hard-to- reach spot. Reuben lives with his mom, (his dad died when he was a baby) and they don't have a lot of money, so Reuben plans to sell the watch because he thinks it is worth a lot. He goes to many different jewelry shops to try and find out what it's worth, but most of the store owners want to take the watch, or buy it from him for a small amount of money. Later that day, Reuben finds out that someone very evil is looking for the watch, and he has put himself and his mom in a lot of danger. He starts to play around with the watch, and discovers that it has a secret power. Then he knows that he can't sell it because the power is too amazing.

It's a really great book, and I recommmend it to anyone who liked the Mysterious Benedict Society series, and anyone who likes adventure stories.
