Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Ranger's Apprentice
Guess what, guys?...

Guess what, guys? Haley actually *gasp* enjoyed modern fantasy!

On a more serious note, has anyone read this currently 5-book series by John Flannagan?

Oh, speaking of which, you said it can apply literally? Last night I got so exasperated and frustrated at myself when I was trying to write that I started banging my head against the desk. (Not awfully hard, just trying to knock some sense into myself.) It was an interesting scenario... :/

@Whoever made this thread-TNO?-no, I haven't read it, I'll look for it at the library tho, it sounds good!

Um, yes. Really. :)

I searched it on the library catalog, but couldn't find it. The author is John Flannagan, as in, F-L-A-N-N-A-G-A-N? And what is the title of the first book? (I know I must be doing something wrong.)

No, it's F-L-A-N-A-G-A-N. There's only one N- the second one was a typo on my part for which I apologize.

The first one is Ranger's Apprentice: The Ruins of Gorlan.

...Also, the seventh one is already available in Australia. This makes me sad.

I'm glad I finally found someone else that has heard of these books! I ran across them in Barnes and Nobles and I fell in love with them! I have puchased all of the 5 available close to me (although the closest bookstore is like really far away like 50 miles or something). (I don't like living in such a small town... :(...) I am reading the 5th one and I can't wait until the next one comes out, and I love the idea of Rangers! That would be so cool!

Love 'em. I've read only the first four but my friends have the ones that are out in Australia and can get them for me in a few weeks. :D Great books!
