Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Darkstalker
This may have...

This may have spoilers, just to warn people.

I just reread it for the millionth time (it might be my favorite WoF book) and... I'm in tears for the millionth time.

"He saw with perfect clarity how much she loved him... and how she was betraying him to save everyone else.

'Goodbye, my dearest love.' Her thoughts whispered."

It just makes me think. There is no way I would've been able to do that.

If you had a boyfriend, that loved you so much he would do anything he thought was right for you, even to the extent of killing, what would you do? Turn him in for the other people's safety? Lose the thing in the world that means the most to you?

Its just something to think on, and I can appreciate how difficult it was for Clearsight. I wouldn't have been able to do it.

This is probably the deepest book Tui T. Sutherland has ever written. It almost makes me wonder if Darkstalker is trying to recreate his past. I wouldn't put it past him.
