Flight of the piasa is really good. There is a teacher who finds something in a cave. Then his friend gave him a journal that someone claims he found. The journal is about the piasa bird and how it came to be. It is really interesting. It is historical/fiction. When we go to get produce from a organic garden we pass the piasa bird. I actually met the Author, Raymond Scott Edge! He even signed it!

No, he's not a boriing teacher, he finds a skeleton in a cave. Then the skeleton has some coin in his hand. And then one of his friends gives him a journal of someone that has something to do with the piasa bird and the coin.
