Should Icy read Warriors?
HELP!!!!!So, ...
HELP!!!!!
So, two of my friends in real life both LOOOVE Warriors! And they seriously completely love it! So me and my other friend are left as third wheels--sometimes we can't hear ourselves even talk over the Warriors noise!
I've also gotten a bunch of spoilers: SPOILER ALERT Rusty the KittyPet turns into FirePaw and then FireStar, who leads his clan. He eventually dies. HollyLeaf was super strict to the warrior code. She, eventually, goes insane. And...doesn't actually die. SO MANY DEATHS! SO MUCH BLOOD!
What do I do!? Should I read it!?

No. I think they are poorly written, highly illogical, and have many mistakes.

Mistakes? Yes. Poorly written? Some of them. Highly illogical? Maybe.

YAS YOU SHOULD!!! Wait, do you read Wings of Fire? And also, it really depends if you're into love triangles and breaking laws for love. Because there is A LOT of that in the series. And the series isn't very gory, although some cats die ...

If you want to! They're not my favorite books ever, but they're fun for a little light reading. Depends on your taste. (There are a lot of deaths, though.)

Man! Gared what is with that.

I had trouble getting through it three years ago, I doubt it will be any easier now. Plus I got rid of it. I think it lacks the depth that many other fantasy series have. Plus there are way too many.

I posted on here earlier, but it didn't show up. Maybe it didn't post. But I said something along the lines of...
Icy, Warriors doesn't really sound like your type of book. I don't think you should read it, unless curiosity about it is burning your eyes out, which is a hyperbole, but does it matter? in the meantime, I suggest reading Keepers, a series of two books (still being written) by an author called Ted Sanders. You would probably like it.

Scylla,
I love Keepers! Is the second book out yet???

It's up to you, of course! I read them when I was 10-12 and I liked them up to a point. Eventually I realized there are a lot of better books out there. :P
Read the first one and see what you think. :)

I think I wouldn't like it TOO much, but truthfully...
I can be a major book critic sometimes, breaking down into the book and examining the true elements of a story...
But when it comes down to it? WHO CARES ABOUT ALL THOSE SHEBANG WORDS AND ELEMENTS? HECK, I'M GONNA ENJOY A STORY WETHER IT'S 'bad', 'childlike' HAS 'major flaws' OR NOT!
But yeah...I'm going to read it. For my friends.

You should if you want to. I just read a fictional story that involves chess and I am mad because the games haven't been written out. I am really nit-picky.

Sure. I like them. They're not my favorite. My favorites are by Anthony Horowitz.
They might get boring. They do have fights. In my opinion, they're not very graphic (I'm talking about Warriors now). Also in my opinion , they have a wonderful viewpoints that the writers describe nicely. Ugh, I gotta go.
