Chatterbox: Blab About Books

A lot of people seem to be shippers, so I thought, let's make a thread where we can rant about our OTPs.

I'm not much of a shipper myself, except for exactly one huge ship that I came up with on Sunday and I am completely obsessed by: Arobin. Or something. I haven't quite figured out what the ship name should be. But it's basically a ship between Ariel and Puck (AKA Robin, explaining the name). Of course I don't mean the AEs, because that would be odd, but just kind of tweaked, a bit more modern Shakespeare spirits.

I actually made up a whole universe, just for them, in which I torture myself by having an imposter Prospero return and reclaim Ariel right after she gets into a relationship with Puck, who is still in Oberon's service. Then Oberon and Prospero get into a rivalry, and Ariel and Puck are forced to fight one another. (sob.)

Ariel is more modern now, as the time period is today or maybe a bit before-- 2000 at the earliest. She's an air spirit, which are the most trustworthy of the spirits (or sprites) besides the elementals. She wears blue jeans and a white blouse, and has wavy-almost-curly long white-blond hair dyed with streaks of light blue. Her eyes are sky blue and she has tanned pale skin. She's rather tall, and has large white wings that seem to appear out of nowhere when she's showing off.

Puck is also very much more modern and is a mischief sprite. These sprites are very low-class, usually under the service of another, more powerful spirit, but Puck is very high up because he's the king's most trusted servant. His hair is brown and in a mohawk dyed with streaks of green. His eyes are a darker green and have the characteristic twinkle of his kind. He's a bit taller than Ariel and wears frayed blue jeans and a brown tank top or t-shirt.

Oberon and Titania, king and queen of the spirits, are the only existing elementals. These are the most powerful of the spirits, possessing every power from the other kinds, but each singular power is weaker than the spirit who only focuses on it (if that makes sense). Prospero is a sorcerer, which are often high-ranking with spirits and are often allowed to have one or multiple under their control (hence Ariel).

I'm kind of rambling, but you get the point, and I am realy addicted to those two together. With apologies beforehand for sounding cheesy, which are your OTPs-- of your own creation or otherwise?
