Let's talk about
Chatterbox: Blab About Books
Let's talk about one of the best books of all time!!!!!!!!
Here are some questions to answer:
Who's your favorite charrie?
Who's your least favorite charrie?
Do you ship Solangelo?
Make a connection between PJO and HP.
My answers:
Who's your favorite charrie?
Nico. He has so much pain! He went through so much. He went to TARTARUS, alone!!!!!
Who's your least favorite charrie?
Calypso. If it weren't for her, Frank Zhang (Who has a much cooler name, in my opinion) would be the only almond-eyed character in the series!! XD XD I know, pretty stupid reason. Deal with it.
Do you ship Solangelo?
DUH!!!! The only reason it's not my OTP is because of Dramione.
Make a connection between PJO and HP.
They are both like fine-spun webs. So many connections (Redundancy not intended)! Like how Reyna was at the salon place, or how Hazel knew Leo's grandfather, or Luke and Annabeth's past, or . . .
*Continues geeking out about PJO until everyone drags Mei away*

I've noticed a lot of people said they ship Reyna with Nico. No offense, but this is one of my antiships (or whatever you call it) I mean, can we just have one female character that stays single?

I personaly feel like the Percy Jackson world is bland. Of course it is fun, but lacks the real depth Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Books of the Beginning, and many other fantasy worlds have. I wish there was some element Riordan created something that was his own. Like a tie whe the Gods weren't just watching heros die, when the gods had to do something. I wish that there were some better endings, other than cliffhangers, and I wish the series would end. I think that some heros should die, for one, but also that there should be one book that is the end of the series. There are like 3 Percy Jackson series, plus the Kane Chronicles, plus Magnus Chase. ANd they are all connected. I think that the stories are getting cleche, and some real action should happen.

Have you actually read Heroes of Olympus? I know you've read PJO, but have you read HoO? Have you actually read Trials of Apollo? You can't judge a book by its cover. Ricks world building, character building, and general writing gets SO GOOD.
Magnus Chase is awful, if you've read PJO and HoO. Magnus is like a really flat version of Percy. I really don't know how to give Magnus any personality traits. Rick tries to make him sarcastic and casual, like Percy, but doesn't do so well. The worldbuilding is messy, like quilt patches that don't quite fit together. It's really a bad imitation of Percy Jackson. ONCE AGAIN, this is if you read PJO and HoO first.
But why am I talking about Magnus Chase? This is a HoO thread. And a fangirling thread, not debating over whether it is better than Kane CHronicles or LoTR or whatever. That is for your thread, Gared.

Huge connection between HP and PJO:
Both Percy and Harry's weaknesses are said as their loyalty to their friends and those they love. In PJO, he's told that it's his fatal flaw. On HP, it's not said as directly, but it's there, though in Cursed Child, it actually says it's his weakness. In addition to pigeons XD
