So, you might not have heard of me before, but I am Trill W. (Woodhena) on the Kyngdom role plays. I am also Meela and Charla. But today, I am making my very own RP. Yay! This is my first time creating a thread on anything other than Kyngdom, but I hope you like it!
Now, this is an Eragon RP, but first, in case you have never read the books, a little background.
START OF MANY SPOILERS.
Eragon is a 15 year old boy living on a farm, with his Uncle Garrow and his cousin, Roran. He discovers a polished blue gem in a range of mountains called The Spine. He takes it home to the farm, but it turns out it was a dragon egg. The egg hatches, and out comes Saphira. She and Eragon bond and quickly become inseparable. They soon learn that they have become the first Riders for centuries. They also learn that a twisted Rider, Galbatorix, is trying to take over Alagaësia. Garrow dies in a fire at the farm, and the village storyteller, Brom, accompanies Eragon on a journey. Brom gives Eragon the ancient sword Zar'roc, and they head off to....do what? His main quest was to save Alagaësia, but how? He meets his half brother, Murtagh, a dwarf, Orik, and an elf, Arya. Soon, Murtagh disappears, and becomes one of the Forsworn, Galbatorix's evil army. He also has a dragon, named Thorn, and gives Eragon many a fierce battle. He helps Nasuada (the queen of the Varden, an organization dedicated to destroying Galbatorix) rule the Varden, and there is plenty that happens in between the books. I was mainly explaining the first book, titled Eragon, but the next book is called Eldest. The third is Glaedr, and the fourth Inheritance. In those three books, a lot happens. And I mean A LOT! XD Glaedr and his rider (Eragon and Saphira's tutors, also old riders (SPOILERALERT! Like Brom, who also dies)) die, and they discover more dragon eggs and Eldunari (basically a dragons soul). It all leads up to a great battle between Eragon, Saphira and the Varden, and Galbatorix, his dragon, Shruikan and the Forsworn. SPOILER ALERT! Eragon defeats Galbatorix and decides to live out the rest of his days in peace across the ocean, training new Riders for centuries to come.

Whoo! Sorry about all the spoilers, it would have been very hard to explain them if there weren't a few...

Anyway, on to the RP!
You are a Rider, trained by Eragon and Saphira, after what is now known as The Great War (or The Final Battle, depending.). Soon, you and your friends learn that all is not well in Alagaësia. The descendants of Murtagh and Thorn have not learned their lesson, and are causing big trouble. Your task? Save Alagaësia from a fate worse than death.
I will need someone (first come, first serve) to play Murtagh and Thorn's descendants. The rest of us will all be Riders. Here is the Signup sheet.

Here is my charrie!
Name: Birch
Age: Fifteen years
Apperance: Black hair, pale skin, silver eyes.
Personality: Sarcastic, caring, brave. Will fight if provoked.
Strengths: Caring, brave. Excellent fighter.
Weaknesses: Will fight if provoked. Sometimes needs to be held back.
Backstory: Birch was born in Gil'ead, under a birch tree, which is what gave her parents the idea for the unusual name. She has wanted to be a Rider from the time she was six, and had play fights with her friends all the time. Loves Rona with all her heart, and will do anything to defeat Murtagh's decedent.

Dragons Age: Six years
Dragon's Appearance: Firey red scales, yellow eyes, orange accents.
Dragon's Personality: Takes Birch's sarcasm literally a lot, doesn't really understand human humor, but knows when to be sarcastic back and when to drop the humor and be serious. Loves to play.

I call Murtagh's daughter! Oh my lord did I love these books, I just did a speech about Paolini yesterday!
Name: Tabitha
Age: 13
Appearance: Long, straight black hair that falls to her knees. Blue eyes.
Personality: Unforgiving, cold, harsh.
Strengths: Incredibly bold and strong
Weaknesses: She has a soft spot for family, and her right ankle is weak from breaking it a young age.
Backstory: She was always Murtagh's favorite, and the first real descendant. She found her dragon (Avax's) egg when she was 12, so she has only been bonded for a year. Murtagh gave her a choice about the journey over the ocean, and she doesn't want to o unti shes 13 (so before the war, she will have to go over at some point) and instead has let her do what she wishes: which just happens to be a terrorist to the Elves and Varden.

Age: 14
Appearance: See below.
Personality: She hasn't seen real tragedies, but she acts as if she has seen far too much in her life time. She is sarcastic, but without mirth. She has no real sorrow other than being seperated from her family for most of her young life.
Many see her as a cold, mirthless being, and some whisper behind her back that she is much more closely related to Eragon and Murtagh than she realizes.
Strengths: She's a fast thinker, and has quick, yet steady hands.
Weaknesses: She can be a bit brash at times, and a little overprotective of Mirimel.
Backstory: She grew up until the age of 10 with her Mother, Father, and older sister. They sent her across the sea at 10 to see if she was to be a dragon rider. They thought not, but ...

I am ten years old and sitting on a boat. I'm waving goodbye to my family. The journey was scary, and I didn't even know if I would be picked. Me and Tasmin huddled together sometimes and play fought others. Then we docked. I walk shakily off the boat, almost falling over. I see the cave where Master Eragon and Master Saphira live. I stumble towards it. I walk in and stare. The cave is so big. I see Master Eragon for the first time and try to curtsy, but I fall over instead. He laughs and helps me up. Then he leads us to the hatching cave. We all line up as a red and a silver egg hatch. The red hatches first, and she walked up to me. I touch her nose, and the symbol appears. The silver egg stopped shaking. "Not this time, I guess." Eragon said to the others. Move forward two years, the silver egg hatches. Tasmin comes in proudly with her dragon. We have fun. We have no idea of the evil that is coming.

I sigh, thinking about when I was young. 'You okay?' Rona asks me through our telepathic link. 'Yeah,' I answer. 'Just some old memories.'

P.S, I'm going to ask Cron (a cber/friend/cousin/uncle) to play the male rider/male dragon desendant of Thorn.

Age: 15 by elvish years.
Appearance: I'll make a pic later.
Personality: She is somewhat reserved, but she's an elf, so what would you expect? She can get rather playful around Aron and Theri. She's very thoughtful, with a hand for metalworking.
Strengths: She's considered strong, even for an elf, and has a knack for metalworking.
Weaknesses: She doesn't know it, but she's so loyal to Theri, that she doesn't notice that Theri is using her, albeit inconspicously.
Backstory: She was sent at roughly 8 elvish years to Eragon, and wasn't bonded till not long ago.. yeah. Nothing much. As of yet ...
Country of Birth (all make the journey across the ocean when ten): Phhhtttppp. Wherever the elves live. I forgot where since my brain is slowly dying.

I've never read the books, but now I want to! Most RPs are held in the Inkwell, for future reference, but they can be held anywhere.

Birch sighed deeply and raised her hand to the clouds. She and Rona were fkying, for it never failed to take her mind off things. Soon, she heard Eragon's voice calling. She patted Rona, and they spiraled down to the ground. Birch grinned. Rona had always been the best at spiraling. "Yes, Master?" She quiried, noting the slightly panicked expression on his face. "Come to the main hall. Get Tasmin and the others." Birch nodded. 'You go get them, I'll head to the hall.' Rona said quickly. Birch ran through the halls of the building. "Guys! Master wants us all downstairs in the main hall!" Sleepy heads poked out doors, then bodies jumped out and followed Birch. They soon made their way to the main hall. 'Sit.' Saphira told them. They sat.
Eragon sighed. "It's time you learned what's happening in Algaësia."

Backstory: No one really knows, since she keeps to herself alot. All they know is she is half-elf, isn't bonded and has a sister.
