The Giver
The Giver is...

The Giver is a really good science fiction book.  It's all about a community without color and without love, pain, and feeling.  Everybody is given jobs at 12 and everything is really organized.  I recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!!

The Giver really held my interest when I was reading it. It was kind of strange, but it was still good.

The Giver is a great book!  It is really a dystopic world.  Did you know that it is a trilogy?  The second one is Gathering Blue and the third one is Messenger.

I loved the whole trilogy. I voted for it for a Rebecca Caudill award, and it won! Lois Lowry also won with Number the Stars, and this year, I'm hoping for either Gossamer, or The Lightening Thief to win.

The Giver was sorta sad, but also strange...... but in a good way.  The last bit about Jonas & Gabriel was really heartfelt.

I had to read it for a school report. At first it was just odd, but it gets pretty good.
